Chapter 202 - 63 – I love you

Chapter 202 - 63 – I love you

Faralynn laid naked beside Matthew and hugged him, passing one leg over his naked body. She covered both of them with a blanket and rested her head on his shoulder.Matthew placed a kiss on her head and hugged her tight against his body.

Faralynn giggled happily and closed her eyes. Her face was blushing both for exhaustion and embarrassment for what they just did. Feeling his hand caress her hair she purred and snuggled against him.

"Your hair has grown." Matthew noted.

"It did. I didn’t have time to cut it." Faralynn said, passing her own hand on her hair and feeling how big it was. "You don’t like it?" She asked.

"I love your hair." Matthew said and placed a kiss on her head.

"Do you want me to let it grow? I’ve been thinking about changing it." She said while playing with the hairs on his chest.

"I don’t know. You would look hot with long hair. But you’re very sexy with it short." Matthew complimented her.

"Really?" Faralynn hid her face on his chest.

"You don’t need to be shy with me, Lynn." He lifted her face by the chin to look at him.

Faralynn then kissed his mouth.

"I know." She said while getting on top of him and hugging him with both arms.

Matthew’s hands started to massage her body.

Both stayed like that for a while. They were in Faralynn’s room at her home. Her mother went to Nuilynn to be with her father and the house was now only inhabited by her, Faynn and some servants.

At night, when Faynn was out, the big mansion felt really empty. Having Matthew there with her calmed her down.

"Are you going to sleep here today?" She asked, breaking the silence.

"I will." He smiled, kissing her neck.

Faralynn laughed when she felt his breathing on a sensitive spot on her neck.

"What?!" He asked, laughing himself.

"It tickles." She protested with a large smile.

"Yeah? What about this?" Matthew started to tickle her, making Faralynn struggle and jump out of bed laughing and fleeing his onslaught.

Matthew jumped after her, grabbing her in the middle of the room from behind, hugging her by the waist, and kissing her neck from behind.

"This feels nice." Faralynn purred, pressing her body against his and caressing his face with her hand.

Matthew kept kissing her enjoying her smell and her heat.

"Let’s take a bath." Faralynn said suddenly, turning to face him.

Matthew smiled and picked her up like a princess.

Faralynn laughed loudly, passing her arms around him.

Once in the bathroom, he gently placed her on the floor and she sat on the edge of the bathtub, turning on the water slowly and feeling the temperature. The bathtub was very large and could easily fit 2 people inside.

Meanwhile, Matthew looked at all her beauty products on the sink, reading the labels to fill the silence.

"You’re distracted." Faralynn observed.

"I am?" Matthew asked as if waking up from a dream. ""I was just looking at your creams."

"I didn’t mean that." The elf said and got up after being satisfied with the temperature of the water. "You’ve been day dreaming the whole night. When we were eating. Driving home..." She explained.

"Oh. Yeah. I’ve got some things in my mind." Matthew said, sitting down on the edge of the bathtub.

"Talk with me, Matt." Faralynn stood in front of him and hugged him, pressing his face against her bust.

"It’s that stuff I told you about Belial." He said, hugging her and basking in the warmth of her bust.

Faralynn caressed his hair, unsure of what to say to make him feel better.

"Go wash your body." He smiled at her and pushed her gently towards the shower.

The elf turned on the hot water and started to wash herself in front of him. Her ears twitched with both excitement and embarrassment of being watched doing so.

"But what’s really bugging me is Marcus." Matthew said.

"Marcus?" Faralynn asked while shampooing her hair.

"Do you remember that kid that was with us in Saint Helen?"

"I do. What about him?"

"Father Oluwafemi asked me to talk with him. He said he barely leaves his house. He thinks that talking to somebody else who was there might help the kid." Matthew explained.

"Oluwafemi?" Faralynn asked, washing off the lather.

"The priest that was with us back then. I met him in Abule. Didn’t I tell you?"

"No. You only told me about the Harp and Valac." She said while picking up the soap.

"Yeah. I met him there. He said he was counseling Marcus, but had to assume the parish in Abule. Now he asked me to talk with him." Matthew got up and took the soap from her hands.

"I can go with you. I was there as well." Faralynn said with a smile while Matthew lathered her body. "Would that help?"

"A lot. I have no idea what to say to him." Matthew said.

"In my experience, it helped to know I was not alone." The elf said, turned around and placed a kiss on his lips.

"Me too." He smiled at her as she left the shower and turned off the bathtub faucets.

"When are you planning to go see him?" Faralynn asked while getting into the tub and watching Matthew shampoo himself with focused eyes.

"Some time this week." Matthew replied, hurrying to clean his body and join her.

"We could do it on Tuesday." Faralynn suggested, thinking about her agenda.

"Tuesday is great." Matthew said and turned off the shower.

They cuddled inside the bathtub for hours after that. Talking about the latest tv show and other trivial matters.

"I could stay like this forever." Faralynn exclaimed while resting her face on his chest.

"Do you mean it?" Matthew asked.

"Of course I do." Faralynn replied with an offended look.

"Because, I could too." Matthew smiled at his, melting her heart. "Lately I’ve been thinking about this. About us. About our future." He added.

"Really?" Faralynn asked with a bit of fear of what he would bring up.

"Do you see us getting married?" He asked her.

Faralynn stayed still for a while. The question shocked her. She sat on his lap, turning around and looking him directly in the eyes.

"I do." She said in the serious tone he only heard when she was commanding her subordinates. "Do you?" Her question came as an accusation.

"Of course I do. I was just not sure where we stood." Matthew said.

Faralynn held his face with force, squishing his cheeks.

"Look, Matthew. I really love you. This is not a game for me. This is not a fad. I’m not looking for a fling. I LOVE you." She said with a mix of possession and indignity in her eyes.

Matthew smiled and hugged her hard. The surprise made her break her serious expression with a quick scream. He kissed her passionately and she responded in kind.

"I love you too, Lynn." He said, making her blush and avoid his gaze. "I bought something. And I don’t want you to freak out. But I want you to have it." Matthew added taking the fox ring from his Inventory.

"What is this?" Faralynn’s heart accelerated.

"An engagement ring." Matthew smiled at her, unsure of how she would react. "I’m not saying we should get married right away. But, after everything that happened... I want you to know that I will marry you when the time is right."

Faralynn was frozen with emotions. A part of her was scared of what that meant. But a greater part of her was really happy.

"I really love you, Lynn. Without your love I would certainly have succumbed in hell. It was the memory of you that held me whole. I wouldn’t be the man I am without you. I can’t picture my life living without you. I want you to be my woman. And I want to be your man. Will you marry me?" He said seriously.

Faralynn had tears in her eyes.

"There’s so much I still have to do. The house is a mess. Without dad I need to put everything here on Earth in its place." She started to babble. "I don’t know if I have time to..." Matthew shut her up with a kiss.

"I’m not saying we should marry now. We can wait until the time is right." He smiled at her and held her hand. "Say yes, Lynn."

"Yes." Faralynn said, nodding and holding her tears.

Matthew put the ring on her that fit perfectly, thanks to Erin showing her the correct size.

Faralynn cuddled with Matthew again looking at the ring in her finger like nothing else existed in the world.

"Do you like it?" Matthew asked, hugging her tight.

"I do! I love foxes." She said without taking her eyes from the ring. "It’s perfect."

"I love you, Lynn."

"I love you, Matt."
