Police? Bai Meiyue sneered. She was afraid that the entire police force might be busy trying to control the mutated rats. It would be surprising if they would even bother with such matters when the cloud city was in chaos.

Just when Meng Suisui was about to take out the stun gun, Bai Meiyue rushed forward and charged at the thugs who came to threaten her.

The underlings saw their leader getting beaten up and rushed to deal with the woman who attacked their leaders but before they could even surround Bai Meiyue, the latter swiftly dodged their attacks and kicked the underlings on the ground one by one.

As she tapped the tip of her shoes on the ground, a sharp dagger tip appeared at the back of each of her shoes. She performed a beautiful roundhouse kick and aimed at the shoulder of the man who rushed at her with a dagger.

The underlings cursed Bai Meiyue and tried to bring her down, determined to make her kneel and have her call them ’daddy’.

If you take videos of me, then I have the right to sue you back, especially when you took it with the intention of threatening me."

"I never intended to threaten you—" At most, discredit you.

"Where is the evidence?" Bai Meiyue asked with a smirk.

Meng Anzhi was so angry upon hearing Bai Meiyue’s words that she wished to slap the smirk off her face. Of course she had no evidence! This woman didn’t leave anything on her phone.

She said to her cousin, "Go and wait in the car."

Now that the thugs were dealt with, Meng Anzhi should be fine.

Meng Anzhi was quite relieved when she heard Meng Suisui give her a way out; however, when she thought about what just happened, she turned to look at Meng Qibao and said to him, "Brother Qibao, let’s go."
