These days all she wanted was to eat and sleep. She wondered after whom Bai Cai took after, because she had always been an energetic child when she was young. It must be Lei Qian.
That man had this air of laziness around him every time she talked to him.

Bai Zhan was not saying empty words. He truly meant it!
His mother was not awakened and relied on the three siblings; nothing could happen to them. If they died, then who knows what would happen to their mother?
His sons were still young; they couldn’t take care of their grandmother. If anything, they would become a burden on his old mother.
