He walked in the front of the group and said to the rest of the survivors, "Sister Meiyue is kind and she is only paying us our wages in exchange for the work that we are doing at her home."

"If you want to get her supplies, then why don’t you do the same?" He didn’t want these people to cause trouble for Bai Meiyue because of them. After all, this trouble happened because Bai Meiyue helped their small group and took them in.

They saw that Wen Mian and Meng Qibao were easy to bully; thus, they pulled and ripped their hair and clothes.

Some even pinched Wen Mian in places, which made the woman cry out in shame and humiliation.@@@@

"Stop it!" Bai Jixuan stepped forward to stop the fight.

While Yan Wanning and Bai Zhan looked at the group of people with fearful eyes. Were these humans? They looked worse than beasts! Even zombies were not as terrifying as them.

Bai Meiyue looked at the people who were causing trouble for her family and her eyes turned cold. She rolled her sleeves and took out the butcher knife that she always carried with her in the space pocket. She walked past her family and kicked Brother Pan, who was causing the riot.

Without even blinking, she raised the knife in her hand and beheaded the man who gave these people the courage to rebel against her.

Lei Yan waved his hand, causing a gust of a violent wind to rise.

"Brother!" Lei Yan shouted and Lei Qian immediately placed his hand down, not daring to move.

"What am I supposed to do?" Lei Qian didn’t dare to move his hands or legs. He stared where he was and asked Lei Yan to help him. Because compared to him, his sister seemed to be more knowledgeable.

Lei Yan looked at her brother and drew in a breath before saying, "First things first, we need you to control the heat."

"How can I do that?"

"Just close your eyes and think what you want! This is your power; you can control it naturally."

When Lei Qian heard her words, he immediately closed his eyes and tried to control his newly awakened powers. Not only because he was worried that he would hurt his family but also because he wanted to see Bai Meiyue. It had been so long since he last saw her.

Given how heartless that woman was, she might have even forgotten about him.

Half of them were killed while the other half were injured so badly that they howled in pain while lying on the floor. Bai Meiyue looked at the rest who had escaped to the end of the corridor and glared at them frostily.
