Chapter 364: A serious talk after a lifetime

Rio, was talking to Ryuk about how to deal with the pedo professor who's been making things 'difficult' for him in the class.

Trying to point him out on stupid things, asking him questions way out of bounds just for trying to make a fool of him in front of Becca, giving lengthy assignments or just being annoying to look at - after a month of patience and hints that if you don't want to die, back off. - Rio finally gave up on everything and chose to deal with this guy for real.

He hoped to wait a little longer till somehow Leon helps this guy finish the research of his mentor, but this annoying pest doesn't seem to learn, and that stupid Leon is just too busy with trying to win over Vanessa, Sunaina and Seraphina, to actually care about the plot.

'That idiot is too unreliable.' Rio thought before making this decision.

"Are you sure you want to do this? A lot of people have their eyes on you? Especially since that elder has accepted you as his disciple." Ryuk, who heard Rio's plan to deal with another professor called Quinlan, couldn't help but ask in doubt.

He couldn't even help but wonder if this guy simply lost his brain inside the dungeon, he just got back, and still haven't fully received his 'okay' mental certificate from the therapist, but he had already killed a student openly and now plans to kill a teacher.

What's next on his list, assassinate the principal and nuke the academy.

"Plus your plan is too risky, if anything goes wrong, I'll be the one who gets kicked out." Ryuk said anxiously.

"Don't worry, you're more useful here then outside. I won't fail again. Just follow the plan and accuse _ " Rio was saying something but stopped when he heard something behind his back and through the corner of his eyes, he found Saisha standing there with a surprised expression.

'System...'

[Don't worry, she just came here.] Before he could ask, the system responded and calmed his doubts.

"Thank you for your help professor, I'm sure I can find the right books with your guidance." Rio said and bowed a little, shaking his head to signal Ryuk, it wasn't safe to speak and not to worry about anything.

Ryuk, who heard his message and saw his expressions, also calmed his nerves and smiled in response.

If anyone saw him plotting murder and building schemes against the academy, he would have to kill them too to survive, even if it is the elven princess.

"I am just doing my part of the job. But I'd still suggest you think over your choice, there are other books in the library which are more suitable for you. You can take your time and think about it again." He said, hinting to halt their plan in a roundabout way.

But Rio just shook his head and replied "I've decided, professor. Don't worry."

By this point Saisha had come close to their position and they could see her, so Ryuk just smiled and then left the place after wishing his 'student' best luck.

Rio wanted to avoid Saisha, so without even looking at her, he turned around and chose to leave in the opposite direction. Thinking her coming here was just a coincidence, so it's best to leave silently.

Alas... he thought beautifully.

"I have zero idea of what you're saying, miss Saisha. Are you feeling okay? Do you want me to call the nurse, the medics..."

But who made the women's intuition so powerful? He just finished two lines and was interrupted directly. "Don't lie to me, I can see it on your face." She said and blocked his path. "Who are you?"

Hearing the question and seeing her dejected and almost depressed expression, Rio froze for a second, not knowing how to handle her.

Should he just tell her the truth and shove that memory crystal in her mind, hoping she'll live afterwards and he'll finally have his answers, or should he just,..

'No. Shut up you stupid brain. ' Rio cursed and shut off all his thoughts, removing every memory lingering of their past and being calm again.

"You're just acting stupid, miss Saisha. If you have a dream about me, that doesn't mean we got some secret connection."

"It's just fancy hormones, acting out on a teen girl. So stop thinking about useless things, and focus on your studies." He said shamelessly and before Saisha could say something he interrupted her by adding. "Now if you'll excuse me, my girlfriend's still in the infirmary, so I'll take my leave."

Saying that, Rio just turned around and left, not looking back at Saisha who didn't believe a word he said. But watching him leaving, a thought crossed her mind and she couldn't help but voice it out.

"Shiva..." She shouted for some unknown reasons, calling him from the back.

But Rio didn't respond at all.

Forget turning around, even his walking posture and speed didn't change or falter at all.

'What was I thinking? Maybe I really am being stupid?' She said and held her forehead. Thinking she should just go to her room and rest. Or go for a medical check up. And maybe after that, she'll also apologize to Rebecca and him later for her odd behavior.

While on the other hand,

Rio, who kept walking ahead, had his face covered in dark lines and question marks, with surprise written all over his face.

He didn't turn back when she called him, as he wasn't some stupid third class idiot.

He nearly got shot in the head back on earth, when he was last tricked by this play, so he had already learned his lesson to control his actions for such situations.

Yet Saisha's sudden call still gave him a surpise.

'System, for fuck sake, tell me you have a fucking explanation for all this fuckry.' He asked and pulled his system out, who just ate popcorns in his head and chilled watching his drama unfold.

"... If you don't explain, what's going with Saisha and what kind of dreams and thoughts is she having, I'd really butcher your ass. So explain." Rio said in anger after seeing this bastardly teammate, and pulled out a sword, ready to hack at system.
