Chapter 1265 - 39: Disappearance_2
She stood for a long time before gently knocking on Felix’s door. This time, she would go to the frontline with Felix. Let everything that is to come arrive fiercely!

Six o’clock in the morning.
Fatty looked at the time and stopped the mecha in front of a small hill.
He opened the forced ventilation device and lit a cigarette. In front of him, the mountains were silent, and the forest was deep. Through the listening device, he could only hear the babble of a stream and the occasional sounds of insects and birds.
But he knew that just seven kilometers to the east, two regiments of the 13th Armored Division were quietly advancing north along the valley. Meanwhile, just two kilometers to the west, a Jiepeng Armored Group was moving south. The two forces were like two long snakes in the grass, silently crossing paths at points invisible to each other.
"Fatty...." The lazy voice of Pipi came through the headset. Anyone could tell this guy was sitting in his electronic mecha pretending to be a mountain king, ever since he disabled the Jiepeng SkyNet ten hours ago. Now, the Chuckna Electronic Soldiers revered him like a deity, "at your eleven o’clock, five hundred meters away."
Fatty did not move. The radar was useless in this complex mountainous terrain. However, the new micro-electronic scanner could still capture some clues through subtle electronic reactions in the air. Combining this with his own experience allowed him to make accurate judgments. He had already discovered that Jiepeng Reconnaissance Mecha five hundred meters away. Waiting here was just a matter of lying in wait.
After the operation began, all ten Thunderbolts, including his own, had already been deployed, scattered across three echelons, to ambush enemy reconnaissance soldiers and block battlefield information.
Watching through his long-range viewer, Fatty saw that Jiepeng Spirit Cat cautiously moving among the trees, and his lips curled slightly to the left.
Without SkyNet, these Jiepeng people were clearly flustered. They were like being in a once brightly lit room that suddenly went dark.
Soon, they would be able to construct a new local SkyNet through electronic mechas and auxiliary equipment. Though not as functional as the Chuckna SkyNet, which had been maintained for hundreds of years, it would still be enough to gain an information advantage over the two roaming Chuckna Divisions. However, that would be at least two days later. What was needed now was a bit of their unadapted time!
In this blackout, the ten Mechanical Gods were the supreme rulers!
The white exterior of Thunderbolt changed with the environment. Now, in the jungle, this Thunderbolt looked like a green snake. Quietly waiting for its prey to arrive.
The cautious Jiepeng Spirit Cat drew closer.
Suddenly, with the rustle of leaves and the rapid shaking of the forest, after two dull thuds, the Jiepeng Spirit Cat had become a heap of scrap metal.
Fatty looked at the cockpit of the Spirit Cat, now a gaping hole, and confirmed that the Jiepeng Mechanic was dead beyond any doubt. He pulled on the control lever and, with a few silent maneuvers in the forest, climbed over a small hill, and swooped along the slanted mountainside toward another distant ridge. Moments later, the mecha poked its head out onto the ridge.
Below, a grand procession of Jiepeng Armored Forces was hurriedly moving towards the southeast. The winding teams reached their end. After more than twenty Spirit Cats in the rearguard passed, the entire valley returned to tranquillity.
Beep, a soft sound. A real-time progress map of two other teams appeared on the mechanical computer.
All three teams have safely completed their interleaving.
Beiguan City has opened its doors. Now, it’s time to deal with the two guard dogs!

"Disappeared?!" Bobett squinted his eyes into slits, projecting dangerous rays: "How could they just disappear?!"
The staff standing before him had pale faces, not daring to breathe heavily, looking at one another, unable to say a word.
The screen in front of the SkyNet central control station in the command hall had already gone dark more than halfway, and the technical staff was sweating profusely trying to repair it. Meanwhile, on the electronic map before Bobett, dozens of red arrows fractured the Northern Mountain Region into fragments.
Amid these red arrows, three blue glowing clusters from different directions were mechanically flashing—that marked the three mountain towns attacked hours ago. In this attack, Chuckna’s main force made a full-scale assault, and the Jiepeng troops stationed in the three towns suffered a devastating blow.
Clearly, the strategy of provoking the Chuckna people had worked. The Chuckna people, hiding in the mountains, finally could not hold back. They struck everywhere, wanting to retaliate head-on.
Bobett did not fear Chuckna’s retaliation. In fact, that was the ultimate purpose of all his deployments.
The almost simultaneous assaults on the towns from three different directions made it somewhat confusing where Chuckna’s main force was heading, but it was only a matter of spending more time and deploying more troops. The important thing was that the Chuckna people had revealed their fox tails, and as the Hunter, what was needed now was to capture and annihilate them!
Everything was proceeding according to plan.
But who would have expected that just as the surrounding troops were rushing to the battle area, the SkyNet System was mysteriously attacked? Communication, command, and intelligence across the planet were paralyzed. What was even more unexpected was that the news from the troops moving to the battle area was that Chuckna hit and ran, once again disappearing into the vast mountains.
By the time Bobett received the report, it was already five hours after Chuckna’s attack began, which was infuriating to him.
"Your Highness," Major Staff Claude Lier, from the Monitoring Bureau’s Second Armored Division, stepped forward and said: "I think the enemy feigned and fled south of Tiklar Mountain? You see, several passes in the Tiklar Mountains have altitudes exceeding four thousand meters, which are the gaps in our encirclement."
Bobett glanced at the electronic map, pondered for a long time, and nodded, acknowledging Lier’s assessment.
Under the heavy siege of twenty to thirty divisions, there was no way that the two Chuckna Divisions, like dogs that lost their homes, could cause any trouble. All they could do now was flee. And south of Tiklar Mountain is the ideal place to escape. Since there are so many areas to contain, the passes above four thousand meters are exactly where the defenses are lax.
The mountain terrain on the electronic map also seemed to confirm this. The troops stationed at the three attacked towns were all near the Tiklar Mountain Pass. To the north, east, and west were large numbers of Jiepeng forces. Besides a hit and run and crossing Tiklar Mountain to the south and west, these Chuckna people had no other way out!
"Your Highness, I wonder if the enemy plans to infiltrate our Beiguan City?" said a Major Staff, who stared at the electronic map for a long time before summoning the courage to speak.
The major’s thoughts immediately elicited a cold laugh from Lier: "Infiltrate Beiguan City? Unless the Chuckna Collective went mad.... Beiguan City is garrisoned by two divisions of my Monitoring Bureau’s Royal First Guard, and in the outer southern mountains, two divisions are encircling. Infiltrating would be suicide! I wish they’d try."
The major shut his mouth decisively. As an ordinary staff officer, he really had no courage to argue with the Monitoring Bureau’s elite led by Bobett. Besides, he himself admitted his thoughts were too insane and lacked much support.
"Order the troops to increase their march speed and move to concentrate on searching the Tiklar Mountains." Bobett’s gaze skimmed over the infiltration routes mentioned by the major and dismissed them: "Find them before sunset!"
