Chapter 841: Surprisingly Helpful
Chapter 841: Surprisingly Helpful
Security became at high alert as the Cacia compound went on lockdown. A theft had been committed and there was only one person unaccounted for."Find her! When you do, you bring her straight to me!" Kasimir roared out in anger as every room and every hidey-hole in the compound was beginning to be searched.
Eventually a member of staff was brought before Kasimir, gun to his head as a guard spoke. "Tell the boss what you told me. Now!
The old servant held himself tight, injured, but looked up at Kasimir. "I took the woman to a guest room a few hours ago. As far as I know, she is still there."
Kasimir pulled out his gun and pistol whipped the man. "Which room? Take me there now before I end your life."
Moments later a few dozen guards were outside of the room waiting for permission to enter from Kasimir, but he didn’t wait, kicking to door down he barged in and was about to bark orders to search the place clean, but ultimately became stunned as the woman he thought had stole from him was on a bed, in a dressing gown, bowl of assorted snacks in hand and watching tv.
"Oh. Hello Mr Kasimir. Is everything alright? Who are all these guards? I hope you aren’t here for a blowbang? I am not that type of woman." Keyla said with an innocent smile before continuing. "Also, I hope you don’t mind that I slipped into this robe? It was in the bathroom and my dress was not one for lounging around in."
Kasimir strode forward to the woman on the bed and raised his gun. Stopping when the muzzle was touching her temple. "Tell me where my daughter is and the money you stole before I blow your brains out."
Keyla just blinked, confused. "Kasimir, I know we had a little moment at the dining table, but this isn’t a good flirting tactic. I have no clue what you are going on about. Can you give me a hint? Is the answer seven?"
Kasimir frowned, pulling back the hammer on his revolver. "Last chance woman. You are the only outlier tonight. The only individual that wasn’t supposed to be here. So tell me. Where is my daughter? And where is my money?"
Keyla sighed before giving up. "Alright, alright. Let me up and I’ll show you."
Kasimir pulled back, but kept his weapon traced on Keyla as she walked to the side of the room and picked up a potted plant before breaking the vase with her hand. The sound of the smashing made a few individuals twitch, but fortunately, everyone was properly trigger trained and didn’t fire.
Keyla then turned around and walked to Kasimir and handed him a small device.
"When you don’t have cameras in the entirety of the rest of your house and only in the guest room. They are very obvious to notice. I am not sure if you are a looky-loo or if this is just to get dirt on the people you invite here, but it will also prove my innocence at the fact I have been here for hours."
Kasimir frowned before with a simple head gesture and made his subordinates take the device from Keyla to give to a techie.
A few moments of silence passed as the guns stayed trained on Keyla who just stood there, humming along.
"With a Hmm Hmm~ Here~ And a Hmm Hmm~ There..." Before she got bored and asked. "So? Was there a robbery? I hope your daughter is alright. She looked quite rough when she got here. I hope she didn’t get kidnapped in your own home. Goodness, imagine the scandal?"
Kasimir frowned. The woman’s words sounded sarcastic, but her tone was genuine.
"Have you considered that you might have a leak? Maybe one of them took your daughter and robbed you in the process?" Keyla said, shrugging her shoulders like she was just guessing. But she was at the dinner table when...
Reaching into his pocket, Kasimir pulled out the information Savitri had given to him earlier. He had planned on throwing it out after glancing at the errors, but now...
As he began to read the information, he half expected to see some names on there that he would have suspected Savitri to frame. Guards of his that he had given permission to degrade the worthless shit. But surprisingly, there was none. There were two guards listed in the room with him now that he knew they had no contact with Savitri before and Savitri seemed to have damning evidence against them...
’Huh.’
*BANG!*
Turning around he fired a shot at one of the guards, a woman who had been in his service for seventeen years before turning to the other. A man who had been serving for seven. He then ran over and tackled him to the ground, shocking his other guards as he began to wail on the man over and over screaming,
"Where is she, you Sharktooth traitorous bastard!?! Where is my daughter?"
The man’s eyes went wide in shock for a moment. Kasimir recognised it, but the man tried to play his shock off or something else, but he wasn’t fooled. "B-Boss? What are you talking about? I-"
*WAPOW WAPOW WAPOW WAPOW WAPOW*
Kasimir began pummelling. There was no asking again. He beat the man until his brain leaked out of his eyes and even then he didn’t stop
Keyla watched with wide eyed delight. Her other selves were loving the sight. The bloodlust radiating from the man was making her hungry, but not for food, for a bloodbath. She savoured every sound, every squelch. Every pained breath until the victim stopped breathing and even then she savoured it as this bloodthirsty individual before her continued to pummel.
’I wish I could see Apollo do that in person. That’s the dream... ’
When Kasimir was done, his entire upper body was slick wet with blood, rubbing the blood from his eyes he turned to his guards who instinctively took a step back. "Get my son. Now."
"Boss, Boris is not on world, he-"
"-Not Boris. Bring Savitri to me. He then turned to Keyla and looked her up and down and spoke, "What was on tape?" Not to her, but to someone.
"She checks out, boss. She did not leave from under the sheets until five minutes before we entered."
Kasimir looked at Keyla for a few more moments silently before looking away, uninterested. "Get her and that Samantha woman off the compound. We will be getting to the bottom of this without outsiders present."
...
"I’m sorry you have to go, my dear. But I actually agree with Kasimir on this. Until we find out what exactly happened and who is responsible, though I think the both of us already know who... We will be on lockdown." Zorina said, hugging Samantha.
Samantha hugged back. "Of course, I understand. Will you and Savitri message me the moment you have gotten to the bottom of this?"
Zorina smirked. "Of course, you won’t be getting away from me that easily."
The duo then pulled away before Zorina turned to Keyla. "Miss Keyla, allow me to apologise for all the theatrics tonight. Honestly, you have caught us on a bad day."
Keyla shrugged her shoulders. "Don’t worry yourself. It’s good to know crime families as prominent as your own have their little dramas. Makes us regular criminals feel better about ourselves. Take it easy hot stuff." Keyla said with a wink before entering the vehicle.
Samantha and Zorina had a final hug before Samantha too entered the vehicle and it began to speed away across the water.
...
After a few moments the fake smile Samantha had been putting on all night disappeared and what replaced it was her true smile. Twisted. Dark. Her mouth contorting in a way humanly impossible, prompting Keyla’s eyes to go wide.
"Wow. Apollo will find that hot when he sees you smile like that. I take it that tonight went as planned? I didn’t fuck anything up?"
Samantha turned to Keyla. "Actually, you were surprisingly helpful. Things went even better than I planned! Savitri almost fucked up, but even that is turning out in our favour as we speak. Kasimir is asking him to personally wipe out the Sharktooths on this planet as a test. Something trivial which will benefit us greatly. Plus the new wealth we have acquired will only help us for the time being... Though money won’t be a problem for much longer."
Samantha then looked out of the window, pleased with herself. She gained the trust of her target at a very personal level. That was the hardest part, though she still had all the information Delilah had on her target and how she managed that which took a great deal of guess work.
All she had to do now was sit back and reap the rewards of her months of planning. That was until Keyla asked, her face looking betrayed.
"What do you mean, surprisingly helpful?"
