Chapter 551 550: Needle mover
Chapter 551 550: Needle mover
Less than a split second later...
"You! Humans!! What have you done? How dare you break the treaty? Do you want to die?" An angry, beastly voice was heard as thirteen beasts in their humanoid form appeared.
They were all R9 and had refined their humanoid forms. So there were barely any beastly features to be seen on them.
There were only traces like gills on the neck, a horn or two, fangs, and so on. Simple features likely left there purposefully.
Only one of the 13 was a PR9 too.
"Well, it seems our calculation was wrong. They are two short" Muku spoke without replying to the beasts.
Not at all surprised how quickly they got there. After all, it was exactly what they expected to happen.
"Maybe something else came up" Audrey replied thoughtfully.
"Or they are underestimating us. Which I'm more than happy to make them regret" Jade added while cracking her knuckles.
"How dare you ignore us and pretend not to know that you had a spy infiltrate our headquarters! Hahaha. I see you're just playing dumb. Unfortunately for you, 17 R9s are pursuing the bastard in the suspended zone. They will be caught and tortured soon! This little distraction of yours will not work. In fact, it only made your demise come sooner than it should have. Now prepare to die!" The beast casually told them all what was happening without them even trying to dig into it.
It wasn't that it was dumb or anything. It just assumed that they were part of the human camp.
Which was understandable since all the human experts were gathered there. Muku's group was, of course, an exception. They were a variable no one knew about yet.
That was about to change though. After all, eyes from all camps were already peering from the distance.
The vampires, elves, and orcs all thought they were hidden human experts who had finally appeared. Considering how cunning humans could be, it wasn't too far-fetched.
The vampires were a bit confused by Audrey though. She gave them a familiar feeling yet at the same time they felt like they were beneath her.
Which was really confusing since they were R9s just like her. So how could her blood be purer than theirs? Especially enough to suppress them?
That's something that should only happen if she were a higher rank than them. They definitely had to look into the matter.
Then there were the humans. They were just as confused as the vampires if not more. After all, none of them knew any of the human R9s(Muku's group) that had appeared.
And to top it all off, there seemed to be a beast and a vampire in the mix. These were obviously Raya and Audrey.
Althea was there but none could sense what she was. Even if she was suppressed. Even Monarchs wouldn't be able to see through her. They would only be able to see her strength.
That's something Mrs C did intentionally so that she isn't targeted by other Monarchs if they find out it's her.
Hell, while her looks hadn't changed to Muku's group. She looked different from everyone else.
This wasn't mentioned of course. It's something they'll come to discover with time. That's how Mrs C operates after all.
Anyway, the point was that the group was extremely weird. The connections were so random.
Hell, even the elves felt a vague familiarity between them and Freya along with Elsa.
No, Freya and Elsa weren't elves, it was because of their connections with Iris and the little water fairy Elsa called Ariel.
Like elves, fairies were extremely close to nature. In fact, they were closer. It's that closeness to nature that the elves felt. They were interested in looking into it too.
Apart from that, Jade seemed unreasonably threatening to the beasts without even doing anything.
The situation was definitely delicate in a dangerous way.
The beasts even thought about withdrawal. But thinking about all the eyes that were looking on. They couldn't back out now.
It would be a show of weakness that their enemies will likely exploit. After all, one should never show weakness or turn one's back on an enemy.
And so, they were going to see it through to the end.
Besides, they had the numerical advantage. So it should be fine... Even though they didn't know how strong the other side was.
Muku was blocking all probing into his group's strength.
It was quite easy with his mind that was probably close to that of a Monarch after absorbing nightmare.
It was necessary to do that so as not to make the other side too wary while also not exposing too much in front of the other races.
They didn't know who was friend or foe yet after all.
"Enough chitchat. Let's fight!" Muku chose not to expose that they weren't linked to anyone just yet. They needed to establish a place for themselves first.
If they outright came out and said they were a new power without any roots then they would likely face backlash from all sides. After all, no one liked more competition in these kinds of situations.
But if they establish themselves first, then everyone will have to think twice about whether they are willing to sacrifice to take them down.
After all, it was the same with the other powers. They were all confident that they could at least overpower one other power if they went all out. But knowing the capability of that power made them realise that there would be a high cost. One they aren't willing to pay.
As for whether they can really do it. No one knows since they are all confident. But that's not the point. The point is they know to expect a fight.
Something they don't know about from Muku's group.
They might underestimate them due to the numbers. Of course, if they started something they would soon realise their mistake. But it would be too hard to pull out at that point.
Of course, there was a possibility that they would be cautious like now where they don't want to engage but study instead. But why leave it to chance?
Anyway, the beasts were offended by Muku's words. In the next moment, they all released their auras.
The auras that were strong enough to destroy the solar system by simply being.
But before that could happen they were all transported away.
The World Spirit had done its job in time as always. Despite not having offensive power. It was undeniable when it tried to teleport you away.
Not like anyone wanted to fight there and destroy everything anyway.
So the 13 beasts, Muku, Audrey, Emily, Layla, Chloe, Jade, Hope, Freya, Elsa, Raya, Lisa, and Althea were sent into the suspended zone also known as the divine cemetery or battlezone for obvious reasons.
Time and space didn't exist there. Only emptiness everyone can fight in freely.
It was almost like the void. In fact, it was a washed-down version of the void secretly created by Mrs C a long time ago.
Even Monarchs fought in that place from the Beast World.
Yeah, that lady was probably behind most, if not all the systems that the world worked on at that point. The hidden Needle mover not many knew about.
She was basically the supreme ruler like Muku was in his embryo. Just that unlike him, she had undeniable power not his amazing but ultimately still weak power.
Anyway, that didn't matter. What mattered was that the match was 13 versus 12. So someone had to face two.
The onlookers were interested in seeing how it would go.
But unfortunately, since they weren't involved in the fight they were left behind and couldn't peek in to see what was happening.
The place was something they had zero control over.
Even after the battle, a doorway appears that takes them out. Otherwise, they would be stuck there.
So for the onlookers, they could only wait and see who came out.
For that would be the obvious victor.
Most, if not all of them thought the beasts would win. After all, beasts were generally better than the other races in fights.
Orcs came close physically and elves were beyond magical, compared to the average beast, vampires were quicker and more durable, and humans were the jack of all trades and king of none as always. But all in all, beasts were better at everything.
Maybe not all of them, but those who managed to reach R9 were definitely all special.
For that reason, they all expected the humans to lose. The humans were mysterious and all, but mystery didn't win battles.
And so, they waited for the beasts to return victorious even if they wished for them to lose
Also...
"Was that one purple-haired woman pregnant??" A human expert asked his companions.
They all looked at him with the same confusion in their eyes that he had in his.
They were all thinking,
"Who the heck brings a pregnant woman to a fight??"...
.....
"So, which one do you want?" Muku asked Hope.
He was exactly that person who would bring his pregnant wife to a battle and expect her to fight.
It was out of his hands honestly. Her fighting abilities as a mage weren't affected and she insisted so... He let the lady fight!
