Chapter 815. Arriving in the Meridian Belt
Chapter 815. Arriving in the Meridian Belt
The Venzula Empire, the Andromis Imperium Empire, the Altair Empire, the Meridian Oceanic Empire, and the Solaris Dominion Empire, were all paying attention to one particular competition.
The competition between the academies of the five empires.
This competition was occurring in the Meridian Belt, a place 500 light years away from the Meridian Oceanic Empire.
The competition would end when five representatives each, from each of the academies of the five empires remained. These geniuses would be allowed entry into a special natural secret realm that had been discovered somewhere in the Latis Belt.
Several across the empires were glued to their screens, watching the broadcast.

The participants scanned the area ahead of them.
Currently, they were in a very large spaceship headed towards the Meridian Belt.
The atmosphere was extremely tense.
Everyone knew that the moment they were dropped in the Meridian Belt, inevitable conflicts with chaotic beasts may ensue.
Other representatives from different empires’ academies may also target one another and kill one another to thin the number of participants to accelerate the end of the competition. The longer they spent in the Meridian Belt, the higher the risk of death.
It was also possible for someone from one’s empire academy to even attack you. It was not like the rules of the competition stated that if one killed someone from your empire academy, you would get into trouble for it.
It was literally each man for himself.
The group of geniuses from the academies of the five empires of the Tesla Domain stared ahead of them.
A very turbulent region was ahead.
Mysterious storms rocked the place.
The place was very misty and cloudy.
There were several celestial bodies clustered several light years away from each other. Occasionally, the mysterious storms would sweep past a celestial body. The celestial body would shake, crack, or be completely crushed into smithereens.
Even from the spaceship, the group could hear the roars and sounds of various chaotic beasts hiding in the region ahead of them, even though they could not see them from the spaceship.
Everyone sucked in breaths of cold air.
So this was the Meridian Belt.
Even from afar, everyone knew this place was terrifying.
It was a death zone.
Those watching the stream also felt the same way.
This competition would not just be a matter of survival.
The natural environmental hazards were also a headache to deal with.
Many were at the edge of their seats.
Eventually, the spaceship arrived near the Meridian Belt.
A voice resounded in the heads of the participants.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve arrived at the Meridian Belt. You will all be taken out of the Meridian Belt when the requirement for the end of the competition is met. Good luck."
The spaceship disappeared, leaving the group floating away from each other across the Meridian Belt.
Before they could even process what happened next, they felt a force pull them towards the Meridian Belt.
Each of them disappeared from where they were, appearing in separate locations in the Meridian Belt.

Kailen scanned his current location.
The place was very misty and cloudy.
There were several clustered celestial bodies around.
A very large broken star rolled across.
He could hear the occasional roars of chaotic beasts in his immediate vicinity.
A mysterious storm swept across his vicinity.
Kailen melded with the void and reappeared a few light years away from where the storm had swept across. He wanted to be in the vicinity because he could not use the principle of space to scan a very large perimeter. If he melded with the void and reappeared very far away, he would not know what kind of misfortune he would encounter.
Kailen looked at where he had dissappeared from.
The star which had been previously rolling across the place was shredded into dust by the mysterious storm.
"This storm is very terrifying. I should be very careful. It should naturally contain some sort of principle power to cause this level of devastation. I must prioritize familiarising myself with the Meridian Belt, and also survival above all else. The key is to survive. Not to show off. After slowly familiarising myself with the Meridian Belt, I will know how to avoid dangers here better. Then I can focus on eliminating Isolde and Teiken," Kailen mused to himself.
Kailen used the principle of space again to scan the immediate vicinity.
"Several storms heading to my current location. About 17 rank 6 novice stage chaotic beasts lurking in the shadows. They haven’t discovered me yet since they are asleep. Five rank 5 novice stage chaotic beasts 1 light year from here... I can’t handle the mysterious storms headed here, and the rank 6 novice stage chaotic beasts can wake up at any moment. But I can kill the rank 5 novice stage chaotic beasts. The safest location to be at the moment in this vicinity is where the rank 5 novice stage chaotic beasts are."
Kailen melded with the void and reappeared in the vicinity where the rank 5 novice stage chaotic beasts were.
The beasts were very colossal.
They looked like bysons. Occasionally, they let out roars that shook the void.
They glided through the area. Streams of wind flickered across their figures from time to time. These creatures had the principle of wind.
The creatures simultaneously turned to look at the tiny creature that had just appeared in their vicinity.
Glints of intelligence flickered through their eyes.
The broadcast audience, those from the Venzula Empire especially, were paying close attention to the representatives of the Venzula Empire.
Several zoomed in to focus on Kailen’s stream.
This fellow was about to confront these terrifying behemoths on his own?
Chaotic beasts in outer space were a cut above those on land and in sea. Each was terrifying at their rank. Their principle comprehension was deeper than those on land and in sea at the same rank as them.
Kailen Darkhaven was very strong. No doubt. But could he handle these creatures?
Kailen, oblivious to the thoughts of those watching the stream, locked gazes with the byson-looking creatures.
