Transmigrating to a Female-Dominated World: Handsome Men Keep Chasing After Me

Chapter 1 Another World

Chapter 1 Another World

Dead silence.

The fierce wind howled and pounded against my eardrums, causing a dull ache.

Nalan Jingwen was awakened by intense pain. He slowly opened his eyes, only to find them covered in blood, a red mist.

Feeling the pain in my body, I tried to get up, but found that my limbs were completely immobile, as if I were paralyzed and only had endless pain left.

She blinked, trying to clear her vision. The cold wind rushed into her clothes, its biting chill seeming to freeze the blood in her body.

His fox fur cloak had long been slashed to pieces by the knife, stained with blood, and was now dark in color, offering no protection against the cold whatsoever.

Nalan Jingwen paused for a moment, then finally exhaled, his breath condensing into white mist in the icy snow, before disappearing in an instant.

A mocking smile appeared on his lips, and a low, muffled laugh escaped from his chest, only to tear at his wounds. He coughed violently and gasped for breath.

Even without looking, she knew her miserable state; she was probably covered in blood, her body riddled with tiny cuts, unable to move her limbs, likely because her tendons had been severed. She wondered who hated her body so much that they had tortured her like this, wishing they could tear her to pieces.

The most fatal wound was to the chest, which pierced the heart and killed him instantly.

A large patch of blood spread across his chest, and after an unknown amount of time, it had long since congealed.

It's fortunate that it's winter; otherwise, at this rate of bleeding, this body would probably have bled to death long ago.

They couldn't wait for her to come through.

Nalan Jingwen, the most outstanding and excellent daughter of the Nalan family, fought for power with her two brothers from a young age. As a woman, she sat in the highest position and firmly held the position of president, slapping the face of all those in the family who looked down on women.

She grew up in darkness and treachery, devoid of kinship, surrounded only by mutual scheming, all for that position. She outmaneuvered everyone, yet on the day of the transfer of power, on her way to her ancestral home, she was attacked by terrorists and died instantly in a car accident.

She lived a cautious and calculating life, yet her death was so simple; I had thought it would be a dramatic one.

The Nalan family has layers of guards, all of whom are top experts, selected layer by layer. How could such a loophole have occurred, and how could they not have received a single tip-off? It's really unacceptable.

There is only one possibility: there is a problem internally, or more precisely, a problem with the people around her.

A person lives their whole life for nothing more than profit. She thought she had schemed against everyone, even people's hearts, but she didn't realize that she wasn't thorough enough. One wrong move led to another, and she lost everything.

So be it, the victor is king and the loser is villain; she can afford to lose.

Unexpectedly, fate was kind to her, allowing her to survive and transmigrate into this body.

She couldn't understand how her ruptured heart could keep her alive, but she had already experienced time travel and rebirth. What could be more astonishing than this?

She had already accepted the information about this body when she woke up, which made her both amused and exasperated.

She found herself in a continent where women were respected, and the body she inhabited belonged to the notorious philandering prince of the Phoenix Heaven Kingdom.

He even shares the same name as her; perhaps this is what a bond is.

She was assassinated on her way back to China, and died in this desolate wilderness, amidst ice and snow.

Nalan Jingwen watched as snowflakes fell, landing on her and covering her with a thin layer of white. If this continued, even if she survived the ordeal, she would freeze to death.

He tried to move again, but even with all his might, he could only move his shoulder slightly, and fine beads of sweat began to appear on his forehead.

With just a small movement, she used up all her strength, and collapsed to the ground in a sorry state, like a dead dog.

Nalan Jingwen closed his eyes and stopped struggling.

She wanted to live, but she simply felt powerless to do so.

That's it. I'm too tired. Life and death are predestined. The only downside is that my death was rather unpleasant.

She couldn't help but admire herself; already in such a wretched state, she still wanted to die gracefully.

Snowflakes were falling heavily, and the place was deserted.

A woman lay quietly in the snow, her blood staining the surrounding white snow like a vast expanse of vibrant red plum blossoms, both eerie and alluring.

There is an indescribable harmony between heaven and earth.

After an unknown amount of time, Nalan Jingwen frowned. Amidst the howling wind and snow, heavy footsteps echoed, very slow, and one could sense the sluggishness of the person walking on them.

Even though she was severely injured, on the verge of death, and her senses were dulled, her innate vigilance still allowed her to sense that the person was slowly approaching her, braving the wind and snow, and moving towards her at an extremely slow pace, somewhat unsteady.

In this snowy weather, there are actually people in this desolate wilderness.

Nalan Jingwen wanted to open her eyes to see who it was, but given her current condition of barely breathing, she didn't even have the strength to open her eyes, and could only let the person approach.

Finally, a cool, refreshing fragrance enveloped her. The faint scent, mixed with her body heat, eased her furrowed brows.

Perhaps it was because her wounds were so numerous and fine that there wasn't a single unhealed spot, making her look extremely pitiful. She felt a pair of hands touching her body and heard the other person gasp before quickly withdrawing their hand.

The man was at a loss, hesitating and unsure of what to do.

In fact, she had long been frozen and numb, and the wounds on the surface of her body had also congealed, so she could not feel any pain. As long as the internal wounds were not aggravated, she would not feel any pain.

The person hesitated for a moment, and after a rustling sound, Nalan Jingwen could feel his body being moved, eventually landing on a thin, frail back.

The only warmth amidst the ice and snow.

It smells wonderful and makes me feel incredibly at ease.

But she was so tired and sleepy, her head was spinning, and this unknown fragrance was the only memory she had before she fell into darkness.

……

"Ah Wen, I've been with you for tens of thousands of years. Are you really so heartless as to abandon everything, even me? They are not worth you going to such lengths for them!"

Her voice was shrill and hoarse, each note an accusation, yet filled with endless grievances.

Nalan Jingwen felt as if he were in a state of chaos. Hearing the voice, he subconsciously looked in the direction of the voice, but through layers of mist, he could only see a hazy red figure.

She was a woman, and just by looking at her back, one could tell she was stunningly beautiful.

His powerful aura prevented anyone from having the slightest thought of disrespect.

The woman was facing the man who had just spoken. Nalan Jingwen couldn't see him because the woman's figure blocked his view, but he could vaguely see the corner of her clothes. He was kneeling in front of the woman.

And the mournful sound continued, pleading.

"We've known each other and been together for so long. You knew my feelings, yet you went your own way. I thought we'd be together forever, but why..."

He was interrupted by the woman's voice before he could finish speaking.

"That's enough. This is my responsibility. My mind is made up. You can leave now."

The man seemed incredulous, kneeling down and grabbing the woman's skirt as if grasping at a last straw.

"No...please..."

The woman remained unmoved, and ruthlessly snatched the piece of cloth from the man's hand.

"It's all just your imagination. I've never had any feelings for you. You can leave now."

“I don’t believe it!!”

"If you didn't love me, why would you have let me stay by your side for thousands of years?! If you didn't love me, why would you have rejected all the partners recommended by the elders and kept me all alone?!"

The man looked up at the woman intently, but she didn't speak, instead lowering her eyes to meet his gaze.

Silence speaks volumes.

Faced with those emotionless, cold eyes, they were gradually defeated and lowered their heads.

"Ha ha ha ha……"

A low, suppressed laugh escaped from the man's chest, mournful and plaintive, sounding like pain and despair, yet also like irony.

He slowly stood up and looked at the woman.

"I'll ask you one last time, do you really not have ever had any feelings for me? Not even the slightest bit?"

"No."

Without any hesitation.

"Yes, I have overstepped my bounds. Please punish me, Lord God."

The woman looked at him without speaking, her aura dignified.

"Since the Lord God does not wish to punish me, then I will accept the punishment myself, have my divine bones removed and my soul threads extracted. I beg you to grant my request."

"You've really gone this far?!"

Nalan Jingwen could sense the change in the woman's aura; she was angry.

"grown ups!"

He was reminding her of her identity and what he had just said.

After an unknown amount of time, just when Nalan Jingwen thought she would not speak again, he heard the woman's indifferent and helpless voice.

"Alright, go down."

"Thank you for your kindness, sir."

The man turned and left, with a resolute air, without looking back even once.
