Naruto, my father's name is Uchiha Madara.
Author: A Passerby
Synopsis: For some unknown reason, Madara Uchiha appeared in the body of three-year-old Naruto and was mistaken for his father for certain reasons.
Madara initially disliked this brat, but at some point, his art style began to change...
Naruto, kill him! Dad's got your back!
You dare hurt Naruto? You're dead!
Don't think you're immune just because you're someone I can fight back against!
And so began the quirky father and the amusing son's wondrous story.
Chapter 1 Are you the father?
On a cold, windy night, three-year-old Naruto Uzumaki huddled in the thin blankets at the orphanage.
He could hear the laughter of villagers celebrating the winter solstice outside the window, while he was clutching only half a piece of moldy bread in his hand.
This was the only thing the shopkeeper was willing to give him today, and he threw it on the ground.
"It's so cold..."
Naruto placed his bright red little hand on his stomach, where there was a ring of burning pain.
He didn't know what was happening, so he could only curl up and try to alleviate the pain as much as possible.
However, the pain suddenly intensified, and Naruto rolled off the bed in agony.
In a daze, he saw the seal patterns on his stomach glowing with an eerie red light, as if flames were burning under his skin.
"Help, help me..."
Naruto struggled to reach out his hand, but his consciousness suddenly plunged into darkness.
When Naruto opened his eyes again, he found himself standing in a huge sewer.
The murky sewage was ankle-deep, and a chilling breathing sound came from afar, each sound causing dust to fall from the pipes.
"Where...where am I?"
Naruto walked forward tremblingly, then froze abruptly after turning the corner.
Behind the massive iron fence, a pair of scarlet vertical pupils shone in the darkness, like two blood moons.
"You're finally here, kid."
The Nine-Tails' voice was like countless knives scraping against metal, "Come here, let this old man take a good look at you."
Seeing this, Naruto instinctively retreated, but was knocked to the ground by the sudden surge of chakra.
The nine-tailed fox's claws pierced through the gaps in the railings, hovering above his head: "Want to know why everyone hates you? Release this seal, and I'll tell you the truth..."
That extremely seductive voice tempted Naruto's young heart, which longed for family.
"If I can solve this, then I can..."
Just as the claw was about to touch Naruto's forehead, a dark blue flame erupted from Naruto's body, violently repelling the Nine-Tails' claw.
"What a beast! He's even starting to bewitch children."
Naruto looked up blankly and saw a tall, dark figure blocking his way.
The man wore strange armor, his long black hair danced like a living thing, and several wisps of will-o'-the-wisp chakra floated behind him.
The moment Kurama saw this person, the fur on its entire body stood on end, and its inner roar transformed into a shockwave that spread outwards: "Uchiha... Madara!!!"
The shadowy figure—or rather, Madara Uchiha in his spirit form—formed a hand seal, the three tomoe in his eyes spinning rapidly. "Go back to sleep."
The moment the illusion was activated, the Nine-Tails let out a resentful roar, but its massive body still collapsed to the ground uncontrollably.
The entire space fell silent again, with only the sound of dripping water remaining.
Naruto sat on the ground, looking up at the man who had suddenly appeared.
A sliver of light leaked through a crack at the top of the pipe, illuminating the other person's sharply defined profile.
"You, who are you?" Naruto asked timidly, "Your father?"
Ban's body visibly stiffened.
He looked down at the blond, blue-eyed toddler, his brow furrowing deeply: "Are you blind? I'm not your father."
"But, but..." Naruto hurriedly got up, "Grandpa Third Hokage said that Dad died fighting the Nine-Tails. If you could fight the Nine-Tails, then it must be Dad!"
Ban's lips twitched slightly.
Just because of this? I never expected this kid's associative abilities to be so outrageous.
“I’m not.” Ban turned around decisively. “You can go now.”
Suddenly, the hem of her clothes was tugged.
Madara turned around and saw Naruto clinging tightly to the hem of his armor, his azure eyes brimming with tears: "Please don't go... Everyone hates me, only Dad will protect me, right?"
Ban's brows furrowed even more.
He should have gotten rid of this annoying brat.
But those eyes reminded him of Izuna back then, powerless in the face of the deaths of his other brothers.
Call me whatever you want.
In the end, Madara had no choice but to compromise, saying in the gentlest tone he could muster, "Let go now, I need to examine this seal."
Naruto, however, burst into laughter through his tears and rushed over to hug Madara's leg: "Great! I have a dad now!"
Madara's expression was as if he had swallowed a kunai.
Although he really wanted to shake Naruto off, Madara couldn't bring himself to do it when he saw Naruto's happy little face.
He grabbed Naruto by the back of his collar and lifted the little golden creature up: "Listen up, first, you're not allowed to hug just anyone; second, you're not allowed to call me 'Dad' in public; third..."
His voice stopped abruptly.
Through Naruto's eyes, he saw the reality of the world.
Three ninjas wearing animal masks were surrounding the unconscious Naruto, one of whom was forming hand seals to probe the seal.
What kind of Dark Guard was that Tobirama set up?
I remember that at the time, because Hashirama didn't need it at all, Tobirama only put forward the theory.
It seems that after I died, Tobirama put this idea into practice.
"Trouble is brewing." Madara sneered, putting Naruto down. "Someone has discovered that the seal has loosened."
Before Naruto could react, Madara shoved him: "Wake up, kid, unless you want to be captured and studied by Konoha's Anbu."
In the real world, Naruto suddenly opened his eyes and was met with a cat-face mask.
He screamed in fright and shrank back.
"The target has regained consciousness," the ANBU ninja reported coldly. "The seal shows signs of temporary weakening; we recommend increasing surveillance."
Ignoring Naruto's reaction, the Anbu members disappeared from Naruto's room as soon as they confirmed there were no problems.
After the Anbu left, Madara's voice echoed in Naruto's mind: "Is this how a village treats its Jinchuriki? Heh!"
Naruto heard Madara's internal sneer and couldn't help but cheer inwardly, "You're still here!"
"Shut up, I'm going to sleep." Madara's voice was weary. "Remember, don't reveal my presence to anyone, otherwise..."
“Otherwise, Dad will disappear, right?” Naruto suddenly fell silent. “I know… I’ll keep it a secret.”
Ban remained silent for a while, unusually refraining from refuting the title.
In his last moments before falling into a deep sleep, he vaguely thought: This brat's chakra... how come it feels like Hashirama's?
Deep within the seal, Kurama opened its eyes, looking thoughtfully at Madara's soul enveloped in blue chakra.
Soon, when the sun rose the next day, Naruto woke up in bed.
This was a rare night of comfortable sleep for him.
Naruto heard the footsteps of the Third Hokage outside the door and looked in the direction of the sound.
When the old man pushed the door open and came in, he immediately noticed the happy expression on Naruto's face.
"Did something good happen, Naruto?"
Naruto, remembering Madara's warning, shook his head: "Nothing! I just... had a good dream."
The Third Hokage looked at him thoughtfully, then suddenly said, "Last night, I sensed an unusual fluctuation of chakra within you..."
Upon hearing this, Naruto thought for a moment and blurted out, "It was my dad who protected me!"
He regretted it as soon as he said it.
Strangely, the Third Hokage didn't press further, but simply patted his head and said, "I see...that's wonderful."
After the old man left, Madara's voice echoed in Naruto's mind: "Trying to get information out of a child? It seems that brat vaguely sensed something."
Chapter 2 Naruto's Daily Life
After giving a brief explanation to the third generation, he left his living expenses for the month and then left.
Naruto subconsciously touched his stomach.
The pain was gone, replaced by a strange warmth.
"Dad?" he whispered, and an impatient snort immediately echoed in his mind.
"Don't make a fuss so early in the morning."
Naruto grinned, revealing a missing front tooth.
He scrambled off the bed and dragged a rusty iron can from under it.
Then, Naruto carefully placed the living expenses left by the Third Hokage inside, leaving a few bills in his hand.
"I'm going to buy milk today!"
