Chapter 219 Wanting to Build My Own Workshop
After nodding to Captain Eric, Li Ang did not delay and went directly to the headquarters of the law enforcement team.
The wizard on duty at headquarters today was a kind-faced, middle-aged wizard wearing gold-rimmed glasses. Li Ang remembered him; his name was Morin, and he was a level three wizard.
"Wizard Morin." Li Ang stepped forward and bowed slightly.
"Captain Li Ang, you're back."
Maureen adjusted his glasses and gave a gentle smile.
"I heard you guys caused quite a stir in Ironforge this time."
Li Ang handed over a thick stack of bound reports: "I came here for this matter. This is a detailed written report on the Ironforge mission. Please check it."
Morin took the report, casually flipped through a few pages, and his expression gradually became serious: "Killing the Underworld Commander—that's truly—remarkable. Thank you for your hard work, Captain Li Ang. I'll submit the report immediately; the higher-ups will surely take it very seriously."
"It's my duty." Li Ang nodded, and without further pleasantries, turned and left the headquarters.
Returning to my long-missed dormitory, I pushed open that familiar door.
"My lord, you're back!" Nelson was the first to greet him, his face beaming with undisguised joy.
"Welcome back, sir." Rodney, who was helping to organize the bookshelves, quickly put down her work and greeted her respectfully.
Lottie stood a little further away, her hands clasped in front of her, looking at Li Ang with a gentle smile, and said softly, "You must be tired from your journey, Mr. Li Ang."
A sense of peace, like that of "home," quietly enveloped Li Ang. He smiled, walked to the table, sat down, and first looked at Rodney, asking, "During my absence, how smoothly were the deliveries of the medicinal herbs?"
"Very smoothly, sir," Rodney replied quickly.
"With Sister Ginny's help in coordinating, all orders were delivered on time and to the required quality." She paused, then added, "Everyone was very—polite."
Li Ang nodded slightly; this was within his expectations.
Rodney, as his attendant, was flanked by her mentor Eve and faction leader Carlos.
Inside the Leli Tower, unless there's a truly serious mistake, no one should be foolish enough to deliberately cause trouble.
After confirming the matter of the herb garden, he then gave Lottie a general account of his trip to Ironforge, omitting many thrilling details and focusing only on how he helped Maya gain the Titans' approval, inherit the throne, and subsequently deepen their alliance.
Even so, it was enough to make Lottie's eyes widen and occasionally let out a low gasp.
After seeing Lottie off, Leon leaned back in his chair, his mind beginning to seriously consider a long-planned scheme: to establish his own potion workshop.
Currently, he can focus on large-scale production of [Targeted Tissue Regeneration Agent] to meet the huge demand in Ironforge and accumulate funds. In the future, this workshop can also become a base for his research and development and production of various original agents.
Without hesitation, he got up and headed to his mentor Eve's residence.
"Mentor, I'm back," Li Ang greeted respectfully.
Eve remained languidly leaning against her sofa, her light blue eyes sweeping over him, a slight smile playing on her lips: "Hmm, it's good that you're back safe and sound. I heard you made quite a name for yourself among the dwarves?" She had clearly learned some information through certain channels.
Li Ang did not hide anything and told everyone about his successful development of the "targeted tissue regeneration agent" and his use of special needles for precise injection.
A genuine look of surprise flashed in Eve's eyes. She sat up straight. "You actually accomplished that idea—even solving the problem of the injection equipment?"
She shook her head, with a hint of emotion, "It seems your talent in pharmacology is even more outstanding than I imagined."
Li Ang then proposed the idea of establishing a personal potion workshop.
"That's a good thing," Eve said, expressing her support.
"You are now a certified wizard and have the right to establish your own workshop. However, since you have chosen to continue serving within the tower, the workshop will nominally still belong to Rili Tower. You can enjoy some of the tower's resources and support, but you must also abide by the corresponding regulations. If you decide to become completely independent in the future, the workshop can leave with you as long as you complete the required years of service within the tower."
Having confirmed this, Li Ang pondered for a moment and then raised a long-held idea: "Mentor, could I—establish a floating workshop?"
"A floating workshop?" Eve raised an eyebrow. "You want to build the workshop on an airship? That won't be cheap."
"Not entirely," Li Ang explained, choosing to be partially honest.
"During one of my explorations, I discovered an ancient site containing a broken floating core."
I want to try to repair it, and then use it as a foundation to build a mobile, floating workshop.
Eve looked at him thoughtfully, her fingers lightly tapping the armrest of the sofa: "Repairing the ancient floating core—extremely difficult, with a slim chance of success. If you just want a mobile workshop, buying or customizing a large airship and building the workshop on it might be simpler and more economical."
Li Ang could not reveal the existence of the system, and could only place his hopes for repair on his dwarf friends.
"I would like to ask the dwarven masters in Ironforge to take a look first. If that doesn't work, then we'll consider buying an airship."
Seeing that he already had an idea, Eve stopped trying to dissuade him and nodded: "Since you have this idea, then go for it. I will talk to my father and give you the necessary support within the scope of the tower's rules."
With his mentor's approval, Li Ang felt reassured. The biggest problem now lay in the most crucial material for repairing the floating core: the [Gravity Stone].
This type of ore is a strictly controlled strategic resource that cannot be purchased with gold coins; it can only be exchanged for using contribution points within the Leli Tower.
He roughly estimated that his current contribution points were still more than half short of what he needed to exchange for the required amount.
After leaving his mentor Eve, Li Ang went to the supplies management office.
When Old Mori from the management office saw him, a very complex expression appeared on his face. He exclaimed, "Li Ang—it's only been less than a year, right? You're already a level two wizard, just like me—truly a formidable young talent!"
Li smiled modestly: "Mr. Morrie, you flatter me. I came here to inquire whether the faction has any custard apple seedlings or seeds?"
"Custard apple?" Old Mori was somewhat surprised. "While it has some medicinal value, it's not particularly rare, and ripe fruits are readily available in the market. It seems the medicinal garden inside the tower has never specifically cultivated them. If you need them, wouldn't it be more convenient to just buy them ready-made?"

"Here's the thing, I plan to establish my own potion workshop to refine a potion that I developed myself, and custard apple is one of the auxiliary ingredients in the potion I'm going to refine," Li Ang explained.
