Chapter 64 Two-year-old cub
Chapter 64 Two-year-old cub
"Garian, how's the preparation going?"
"It's all here, are you really going to do this?"
"Of course, if Severus's inner conflict isn't resolved, he'll die from it sooner or later."
Emeric drank the blood-replenishing potion again; he'd lost a lot of blood recently and had to drink it daily. Everything for the resurrection ritual was gathered; now only Harry's blood remained. They needed to find a way to get the rest.
"Garian, go back and report for duty, then take Harry to the Room of Requirement. I'll leave the door open for you."
"Be careful, is it worth it?"
"When has your young master ever made a losing deal? I'll keep an eye out for it."
The two appeared at the entrance of Hogwarts. Emeric transformed into a kitten and sneaked into the castle. He used plants to hide from everyone until he reached the Room of Requirement, where he transformed back into a human.
The blood voluntarily donated by the unicorn, the blood of the thunderbird, the blood and tears of the phoenix, the blood and saliva of the qilin, and the slime of the giant squid were placed in bottles on the table. Finally, a gold-plated doll was taken out.
"I brought Harry with me, Ellie, you really don't want me to stay here?"
"Thank you, Galian. I know what I'm doing. You can go back now."
Emeric shook his head and refused Garian's help. He didn't want anyone else to know where he was, to eliminate any potential danger. He would be even smaller during the second ritual, and Harry's personality wouldn't betray him. Garian could draw other people's attention outside.
"Harry, don't be afraid no matter what you see later, okay?"
"Brother Ellie, what are you going to do?"
"Don't be afraid, Harry. Drink a blood-replenishing potion first. Your birthday present will arrive soon. See that doll? Draw blood from it later, and I'll do the same. Don't be afraid, it's not some evil curse."
Harry stared into Emerick's eyes for a long time, and then he decided to believe him.
Emeric offered Harry a hasty word of comfort and then poured the liquid from the bottle onto the doll in order, the smell of blood spreading out as the liquid increased.
After the last bottle of giant squid slime was poured out, Emery held Harry's wrist and began to bleed him. The doll was gradually submerged, and Harry's face turned pale.
With a third left, Emeric stopped the bleeding from Harry's wound. He then cut his own wrist, bleeding as he drank a blood-replenishing potion. Lately, he'd been drinking blood-replenishing potions like water. Luckily, this container wasn't as big as the previous one, or he would have lost too much blood.
The room was filled with the smell of blood. Emeric enlarged the wound on his wrist, filled a bowl with blood, applied the white essence, and leaned against the wall to calm himself down.
"Harry, don't move. No matter what happens, remember not to move and protect yourself."
Emeric patted Harry's head and pushed him against the wall to prevent Death from finding him in the magic rune circle. The alchemist's pen, covered in blood, wrote magic runes around the central table, and the temperature in the room gradually decreased.
After the magic runes were completed, the entire room was filled with an aura of death. Due to excessive blood loss and intense concentration, Emeric was exhausted. He bit his tongue and forced himself to sit up to begin reciting the incantation.
"In the name of Aldrickson, I offer you all my life force, to awaken the dead souls, and with my blood as a guide, to show you the way back."
Death appeared in the room, his black cloak revealing nothing beneath. He looked down at the humans on the ground, and a chilling aura of death enveloped the entire room.
"Hiss...hiss..." It's you again, human. What do you want this time?
Lily Evans
"Hiss... hiss" As you wish
The warm ball of light detached from Death's grasp and landed on the alchemical doll. After they were completely fused, the doll took on the appearance of Evans. Emeric cut his finger and rubbed out a line of blood to bind the doll and the soul.
With his back to Harry, he began to explain what was to come, "Harry, there's an invisibility cloak in the ring on the ground. Put it on your mother. She can't be in crowds right now. It's best to give her a different appearance and name. When she wakes up, you all go to the headmaster's office together. Take me with you. Don't worry, I'll be fine. Tell Gellert that I volunteered and don't take me away."
A surge of life force rushed toward Death, and Emeric's face grew increasingly pale. After releasing all his magic, he collapsed to the ground, and Death left satisfied.
As the aura of death dissipated, Lily grew larger and larger until she was exactly the same as before she died. Harry stood there, stunned, too many shocks to bear, and stopped thinking.
He helped Emeric up, leaned him against the cushion, and stood there dumbfounded.
"Wasn't I dead? How did I end up here?"
"Mommy, Mommy."
Hearing the woman's voice, Harry snapped out of his daze and rushed to Lily. His mother was back. He was a child with a mother too. Large tears streamed down his face. Years of grievances and longing turned into excitement at this moment.
"I'm sorry, child, I shouldn't be you... Harry, my Harry has grown up so much."
Lily hugged Harry tightly, overwhelmed with emotion. Her son had survived and even grown up so big; everything she had done was worthwhile, and her sacrifices had not been in vain.
"Mommy, it's Brother Ellie! Brother Ellie brought you back! Brother Ellie... Brother Ellie!!!"
Harry introduced their savior to Lily, but when he turned to look at the cushion, he found that the person on it was gone, and a cub had appeared in its place. The cub looked to be only two years old, and the boy's clear voice had turned into a ghostly scream.
"It's not good for such a small child to be on the ground. Harry, could you pick him up and let me hold him? I'm warmer, and I'm afraid the child will catch a cold."
Harry, his hands trembling, picked up Emerick and handed him to Lily. His eyes swept over the ring on the ground, and he suddenly remembered what Emerick had said earlier.
"Mom, there's a disguise in here. Wear it and we'll go find Dumbledore. Brother Ellie said you can't appear in a crowd looking like your real self. After you're dressed, we'll go find Headmaster Dumbledore."
"Okay, Harry, could you help Mommy? She's feeling a little unwell."
After Harry helped Lily put on the Invisibility Cloak, they left the Room of Requirement. They needed to give Emerick to Dumbledore and resolve Lily's identity issue.
After successfully fooling a bunch of young wizards, the three appeared outside the headmaster's room. Harry took out Honeyduke's list and began to read it item by item, but he still couldn't figure out the password by the end of the day.
Grindelwald
Harry tentatively uttered the name, and the door immediately opened, revealing two people kissing inside.
"Excuse me, I have to bother you for a moment. Brother Ellie asked me to bring him to you."
Harry abruptly interrupted their tender moment. He was extremely anxious, having experienced too much stress today, and had no intention of subtly reminding the two elderly people.
"You brat, you know you're disturbing us, so why don't you get out of here? No matter what Ellie asked you to do here, you should leave."
"Excuse me, gentlemen, please don't scold my child. He did it all for me."
Lily removed her invisibility cloak, and she and the child in her arms appeared in the headmaster's office. Gellert's face turned pale. No wonder Emeric had been having him deal with the Death Eaters lately, no wonder Garian wasn't at Hogwarts, and no wonder Dumbledore had been feeling uneasy.
The price of reversing life and death has increased. If you become a two-year-old child the second time, what about the third time? Will you disappear from this world? No one can guarantee that.
"Madam, can you give me the child? He calls me Grandpa. You can ask Al if you don't believe me. I'll take him to a safe place. The saints will give you a false identity, but you must swear not to tell anyone."
Gellert's hands, which were resting on the chair, trembled slightly. He had watched his child grow up almost die. From the moment his child arrived at Hogwarts, his child had been on an adventure, constantly walking the line between life and death.
"Gail, Hogwarts is the safest place. Ellie has to stay here. He's too young to Apparate. We can protect him."
Dumbledore placed his hand on Gellert's, took Emeric from Lily's arms, and gently patted his back, smoothing the boy's furrowed brow.
"But Al, Ellie only got hurt at Hogwarts. He sacrificed so much for that person, but that man was stingy with his love and didn't give him a single bit of it. He said it was for Ellie's safety that Ellie was in the greatest danger of meeting him."
"Gail, be quiet. You'll wake Ellie up. Let's wait until he's awake, okay? He can't go anywhere right now. He's lost too much blood and his magic; he needs to rest. Harry, is there anything Ellie wants you to tell us?"
"Yes, Brother Ellie told me to tell Mr. Grindelwald not to take him away, as he did so voluntarily."
Gellert's eyes were filled with complex emotions. He finally realized how much trouble he had caused people before. He deflated and agreed to leave Emerick there.
(I won't kill Ellie, I won't!!! There will be no next resurrection, no!!!)
