Vega gripped the spiked club with both hands, raised it above his head to gather power, and just as Captain Marvel was about to crash into the Holy Light Shield, he flapped his wings and flew forward.

"What do you mean? Never seen a handsome old man wielding a spiked club before?" Vega thought to himself as he communicated with the Apocalypse Orb. The next moment, a thick beam of light descended from the sky, blasting Captain Marvel, who was about to fly off the ground, back into the ground.

Igor and Captain Marvel started fighting again, with Vega assisting from the sidelines, occasionally swinging his spiked club to knock Captain Marvel away when she charged at him, or seizing the opportunity to deliver a fatal blow.

Powerful energy raged wildly, the dark clouds grew larger and larger, tornadoes became more and more numerous, and giant craters and deep trenches that stretched as far as the eye could see appeared on the ground.

The Hammer of Punishment hovered in mid-air, transforming into a magnificent, enormous cross amidst dazzling golden light.

With a thought, Vega transformed his golden armor into a white robe resembling that of a priest, and raised his hands to hold the Tear of Remedios, a sacred relic worn around his neck, in his palms.

With hands clasped together, head bowed and eyes closed in front of the cross, a respectful and humble expression on the face, one silently prays: "Great Remedios, I beseech you to grant strength and help this faithful believer save the poor soul, Carol Danvers!"

As he repeated his prayers, Vega felt an indescribable presence cast a disdainful glance his way. Then, a character, '可' (kě), which didn't belong to any known written language but was recognizable to all living beings, appeared in his mind...
