Chapter 95 Mrs. Sharon's Wrath
As night deepened, Lu Ze hid in the shadow of the gas streetlights, observing the house before him. The woman's alluring voice echoed in his ears again, confirming that he had found the right place.
Are we just going to barge in like this?
That doesn't seem appropriate; it would be better to investigate first.
Lu Ze thought for a moment, then climbed over the wall of the opposite courtyard. He used his dagger to create a spiritual wall, then took out candles, essential oils, herbs, and other materials from his pocket—the streets were sparsely populated at night, so even if he did something strange in a sneaky way, he wouldn't have to worry about being discovered by others for a while.
Luze then lit a candle symbolizing himself with his spiritual power, adding essential oils and herbs. As the atmosphere grew more mystical, he took a deep breath and spoke in ancient Hermes:
"I!"
Then he switched to Hermes and continued chanting, "In my name I call you, spirits wandering in illusion, beings of the higher realms with keen observation, benefactors who are willing to lend me the eyes of nothingness."
He needs to ask the spirits for power to obtain a way to investigate Mrs. Sharon's mansion.
boom!
The flames instantly turned a deep blue and swelled to the size of a human head. A transparent lizard, about the size of a medium-sized dog, slowly crawled out from it. Most striking were its eyes, which protruded from their sockets like tentacles.
Lu Ze communicated with the creature intuitively, understanding its needs. He nodded, picked up the dagger, and made a cut below his eyelid. The nerves under the eyelid are more sensitive, so it seemed to hurt a bit more than cutting other parts of the skin.
It's alright, it didn't hurt too much.
Lu Ze thought to himself. After becoming a Mystic, he sadly discovered that he seemed to have become accustomed to various acts that harmed his body.
Blood quickly flowed from the wound under his eye, as if he were crying tears of blood. But before the blood could run down his cheek and fall to the ground, the transparent lizard stretched out its long tongue and licked away the blood tears. Its already bulging eyes stretched even further out until they detached from their sockets and floated up.
Lu Ze was tempted, and immediately closed his injured eyes.
The darkness didn't come from closing his eyes; instead, another field of vision appeared. In this field of vision, he saw himself with his eyes closed, at a slightly higher angle. It was that floating eye; his vision had already connected with that eye.
As Lu Ze's thoughts shifted, this eye also floated and moved around.
Spirit beings would have difficulty detecting this house without activating their spiritual vision, meaning that Lu Ze had a way to secretly investigate it.
He manipulated the eye, drifting it into the house.
The transparent eye was not obstructed by the walls at all; it easily passed through the fence, crossed the garden, and finally entered the first-floor hall.
This was an extremely luxurious space, clearly prepared for numerous guests to dance in. However, perhaps due to the inappropriate timing, it was currently shrouded in complete darkness. Lu Ze searched the entire first floor, but aside from seeing sleeping servants in a corner room, he found nothing else.
Is it on the second floor?
By the way, why would this witch live in such a high-class place...?
As Lu Ze thought to himself, he floated upstairs. He manipulated his eyeballs to pass over the floor, and after a moment of darkness, the light returned to his vision.
Ok?
A dozen meters away, Lu Ze's body couldn't help but tremble.
There's someone in the room!
This is an extremely luxurious room, with intricately woven carpets covering the floor, furniture made of various expensive woods, cosmetics and jewelry piled high on the bedside tables, and exquisite clothing crammed into the half-open walk-in closet...
A beautiful figure sat with her back to Lu Ze on the bedside table. She wore a veil and gloves, and her appearance was somewhat familiar.
Mrs. Sharon?
Lu Ze recalled that unforgettable night, the figure that entered the box while watching a play.
Wait, is Mrs. Sharon also a witch?
I came here following Triss's bloodline, so why not Triss, that witch?
Lu Ze was filled with doubt.
Something's not right, something's very wrong!
Mrs. Sharon removed her gloves, exposing her hands to the air. On her soft, white hand lay a large, gruesome scar, a sight that evoked both fear and pity. It was as if a precious work of art had been marred by barbaric marks.
On the dressing table sat a small bottle that Triss had brought. Mrs. Sharon opened the bottle and carefully dripped a drop onto the wound. The crimson liquid seeped into the wound, fading the previously gruesome injury. After a few more drops, the wound began to shrink, becoming smaller.
Mrs. Sharon put down the bottle, removed the veil from her head, revealing half of her face—a face that was both innocent and alluring, charming and pitiful—while the other half was completely destroyed. The scars were even more horrific than those on her hands; there was no skin left, and it looked like a skeleton covered with a few bits of flesh after being eroded.
What the hell!
Lu Ze was startled.
Suddenly, without warning, Mrs. Sharon abruptly turned her head to look at Luze. A strange smile appeared on her face, a face that was both beautiful and ugly.
"I've finally waited for you."
Mrs. Sharon said.
Her voice was beautiful and melodious, but it sounded incredibly cold, filled with malice and murderous intent.
brush!
Lu Ze immediately opened his eyes. Without hesitation, he ended the ceremony, grabbed the candle, and ran away from the house.
Clearly, their attempt to track him down backfired, and they ended up being ambushed!
Although it was unclear what Mrs. Sharon's sequence number was, she appeared to be significantly stronger than Beatrice. Not only had she easily discovered him, but more importantly, for some reason, her hostility towards him was extremely intense, to the point that she made no attempt to conceal her murderous intent!
As soon as he climbed over the courtyard wall, Lu Ze immediately activated the clown doll on his chest. His speed suddenly increased, so fast that he could hear the wind whistling in his ears.
Wait, besides the sound of the wind, an even sharper sound is coming from behind...:
"call out!"
Lu Ze's keen hearing proved invaluable; in his rapid sprint, he abruptly veered to the left, several icicles following closely behind, slamming violently into the ground. Had he not veered, he would be pinned to the ground by now.
"You think you'll run away when you see me? That would be a disgrace to a lady."
Mrs. Sharon's charming voice came from behind; she had caught up with them without her noticing. Although her words were ambiguous, the chill in her tone grew increasingly intense.
Lu Ze ignored her and did everything he could to escape.
Just then, another gust of wind blew behind him. After dodging it, he discovered that what had landed wasn't an icicle, but an ice mirror. Inside the mirror...
Mrs. Sharon's face, a mixture of horror and beauty, was smiling at him.
"Click!"
The mirror shattered, and Mrs. Sharon burst out of it, her dagger burning with black flames, and thrust it straight at Lu Ze's heart!
