Chapter 5 Adventurers' Guild
Chapter 5 Adventurers' Guild
"Ryan, why is there so much black smoke in this city?"
Zhang Changsheng pointed to the black smoke in the sky, then looked at Ryan and asked.
"Your Excellency, this black smoke is produced by the dwarf workshops for crafting extraordinary equipment."
"There are many highly skilled dwarven masters in Ironforge, which is why Ironforge is called Ironforge."
"Adventurers from surrounding cities all come to Ironforge City if they want to forge extraordinary equipment."
"The two-headed kobold that Lord Changsheng killed might be used to forge an extraordinary piece of equipment."
Ryan quickly began to give a brief introduction to Ironforge City.
How much does it cost to craft a piece of extraordinary equipment?
Upon hearing about the extraordinary equipment, Zhang Changsheng's eyes lit up, and he spoke again.
"Your Excellency, these dwarves charge exorbitant prices; they charge 100 gold coins to craft a Tier 1 piece of equipment."
"As for Tier 2 extraordinary equipment, I heard it costs 1000 gold coins."
"However, if Lord Changsheng becomes an adventurer, it will be much cheaper."
"After completing the Adventurer Guild's missions, you can earn points. One point can be exchanged for one gold coin."
Ryan replied
Can adventurer points be used as collateral?
"In this way, you only need to complete tasks, and you don't need to rack your brains to make money."
Zhang Changsheng thought,
"Thank you."
Zhang Changsheng thanked him very politely.
"Your Excellency Changsheng saved my life, there's no need to be so polite."
Ryan waved his hand and said, then turned to a tall young man beside him: "Jack, the caravan is in your hands. I'll take Changsheng Pavilion to the Adventurers' Guild first."
"Lord Ryan, please go ahead and leave it to me."
Jack bowed respectfully and nodded.
Ryan nodded slightly, then led the way, taking Zhang Changsheng towards Ironforge City.
Zhang Changsheng followed behind Ryan, looking around at the unfamiliar city as they walked.
People come and go from time to time at the city gate of Tianluo City.
Besides ordinary people, there were also adventurers dressed in various armors and carrying various weapons.
The presence of wizards demonstrates the prosperity of Ironforge.
Unlike Wood Town, there isn't a single adventurer there.
The guards at the city gate were not like the guards in the town, who were only wearing leather armor; they were actually made of iron.
"Two people entered the city!"
Upon arriving at the city gate, Ryan smiled respectfully at the captain of the guards and then took out 20 copper coins and put them into the box next to him.
After entering the city, Zhang Changsheng curiously observed the surroundings.
The houses in the city have a peculiar design, all with stone walls and iron gates, and are very rugged.
"It's probably related to those dwarves!"
Zhang Changsheng thought to himself,
Soon, under Ryan's guidance, they arrived at the Adventurers' Guild.
The Adventurers' Guild was huge, with a six-meter-high wall that stretched as far as the eye could see.
The main gate was a huge iron archway, more than ten meters high, with several well-equipped dwarf warriors at the entrance.
These dwarven warriors were all first-tier transcendents, not ordinary warriors.
Ryan led Zhang Changsheng through the iron archway. The dwarf warrior guarding the gate merely glanced at the two of them without making any further moves.
After entering the country, Zhang Changshang looked around and saw rows of tall stone buildings and squares of varying sizes.
Adventurers frequently emerged from the various houses, creating a lively atmosphere.
However, even here, there are very few extraordinary individuals; most are ordinary adventurers, not extraordinary adventurers.
"Your Excellency, the black building is the mission hall where you accept missions, and the white building is where you forge extraordinary equipment."
"The golden one is where spells and combat techniques are sold."
"Follow me, we're in house number 6."
As Ryan explained, he led Zhang Changsheng to the No. 6 dark room.
This building is similar to the lobby of a five-star hotel in my previous life; it is very spacious.
Upon entering the gate, you'll see a counter resembling a bank, where adventurers are queuing up to accept quests.
"Your Excellency Changsheng, the girl at counter number 9 is my assistant."
"Let's queue at counter number 9."
Ryan spoke softly and led Zhang Changsheng to queue at counter number 9.
"My sister?"
Zhang Changsheng looked at the staff member at counter number 9, a blonde girl with an Eastern face. She was very pretty, especially her figure, which was an E cup.
After waiting for about 10 minutes, it was finally Zhang Changsheng's turn.
"Leia!"
"This is my savior. Not long ago, my caravan encountered a kobold wizard. If it weren't for Lord Changsheng, I'm afraid I wouldn't be seeing you now."
Ryan looked at Leia, pointed at Zhang Changsheng, and spoke, his eyes full of gratitude.
"Is that so?"
After listening to Ryan's words, Leia looked at Zhang Changsheng very seriously and said, "Lord Changsheng, I wonder how I can help you?"
"I want to become an adventurer, but I don't know how."
Zhang Changsheng spoke up.
"If you are a superhuman, we need to check your level and profession."
"The higher your rank, the higher the class badge you will receive."
"For example, if you have a Tier 2 job badge, you can accept Tier 2 quests, and if you have Tier 3 quests, you can accept Tier 3 quests."
Leia began to explain, taking out a crystal ball and placing it on the table as she spoke.
"What should I do?"
After examining the crystal ball, Zhang Changsheng asked again,
"Please place your hand on the crystal ball and pause for a few seconds."
Leia spoke very politely.
"good!"
After nodding, Zhang Changsheng raised his hand and placed it on the crystal ball.
About five seconds later, a string of text appeared on the crystal ball.
First-tier wizard!
"I didn't expect Lord Changsheng to be a wizard; I thought you were a warrior."
Leia looked at the words on the crystal ball with some surprise, after all, Zhang Changsheng was wearing armor and didn't look like a warrior at all.
"Wait a few minutes, I'll get the badge for you."
Leia continued, getting busy as she spoke.
Soon, a silver badge was created, with a silver staff on it.
"One staff represents a first-tier wizard; three or two staffs represent third-tier and second-tier wizards, respectively."
Leia handed over the badge and began to explain.
"I understand, thank you."
Zhang Changsheng nodded, then looked at Leia and asked, "I'd like to accept a mission. Could I see the mission list?"
"Yes, that's fine."
Leia hesitated for a moment, then nodded and took out a book containing a list of tasks.
"These are all level 0 and level 1 missions; you can take a look."
Leia spoke, handing over the task list in her hand.
"good!"
After nodding, Zhang Changsheng took the task list and began to review it.
