Chapter 39 Gryffindor's Report
Chapter 39 Gryffindor's Report
In the magic mirror, Owen is already an adult, and there's a party going on at the manor with many people in attendance.
Dumbledore was eating candy and drinking hot chocolate;
Master Nico and his wife were demonstrating their new invention to the crowd;
Master Newt and his wife, one is feeding the cat and the other is baking biscuits;
The old demon king was playing Wizard Chess.
Most importantly, both his parents from his past lives were there. They said something that made Owen shyly bury his head in his mother's arms, squirming like a little child, which made everyone around them burst into laughter…
They're all adults, yet they still act like spoiled children towards their mothers...
blush!
But after the initial shyness subsided, Owen looked at his parents in the mirror with a nostalgic smile and asked, "Headmaster, do you think... people become stars after they die, and then forever light the way for their loved ones in the night?"
Before the old wizard could answer, Owen chuckled and continued, "The night my parents passed away, the whole sky was overcast, but there were two stars that were exceptionally bright..."
The old wizard sighed and gently hugged the young wizard. "Yes, you're right, dear, but I think you should rest. How about... taking a day off tomorrow?"
"Don't worry about me, Headmaster..." Owen's eyes were a little red, and his nose was a little sore, but his gaze was even clearer: "Although they are gone, I am still here. I will live on with their hopes, and I will live a better and more wonderful life, otherwise... they will be disappointed."
The old wizard had nothing more to say, but simply gave the young wizard a deep hug.
Life went on. The next morning, Owen continued his morning exercise and saw the energetic little witch. He didn't say much, but after his exercise, he taught her another breathing method, and then he just watched her fall asleep.
The breathing method that allows you to quickly enter deep sleep is very simple.
Two hours later, when the little witch woke up and found that all her fatigue had disappeared, she felt as if she had found a treasure. She would not tell anyone about this breathing method without Owen's permission!
The daytime went by normally, but two minutes before curfew, Owen entered the Gryffindor common room, called out all the students from grades one through seven, and announced a decision. Instantly, the Gryffindor lions, big and small, seemed to be petrified...
Activity report!
Starting tomorrow, Gryffindor students below the fifth grade will be subject to a daily activity reporting system. In addition to their normal school life, they must write a report on anything they want to do.
The report should include details of the time, place, people, number of participants, objectives, and how to achieve those objectives!
Just like the Weasley twins, if they want to play a prank, they can!
However, before proceeding, a report is essential, and its contents must be truthful and valid. We must complete the task according to the report, without making any mistakes. Once the goal is set, it must be achieved!
Don't want to write?
You can try, or don't make a move, but once you do, there's no report... Irving immediately showed the lions what "wind and thunder" really meant.
Nobody wants to be struck by lightning in a tornado...
"Don't even think about escaping my notice. Let me put it this way: all the ghosts, portraits, and even the various animals and plants in the castle are my informants. I've already made all the arrangements. If you want to get past my eyes and ears and then do something else..."
Owen smiled kindly: "Even Principal Dumbledore couldn't do it. If you don't believe me, you can try. By the way, please give all the reports to Mr. Ron. Ron, please give the reports to me before breakfast tomorrow. If it's after breakfast time, then I'm sorry, the reports will be invalid."
After finishing his business, just as he was about to leave, Owen suddenly remembered something: "By the way, everyone's reports are confidential. I won't tell anyone. If you can perfectly replicate everything in the report, there will be a reward. If there are any errors, there will be a penalty. The report is only valid for one day. I will destroy it at midnight that night."
At this point, Owen opened his palm, and a small blue phoenix, the size of a fist and transformed from Fiendfire, began to fly around him: "Please believe me, it will definitely burn everything away, leaving nothing behind. Fiendfire is still very powerful at burning."
The most painful thing for a poor student is having to ask for instructions, report, and write reports.
This isn't about teasing the lion cubs; it's about letting them know clearly what they've done.
Of course, not everything can be known in advance. If unexpected situations occur, a report can be submitted later, but it must be completely consistent with the facts and there can be no errors.
For example, things like Gryffindor and Slytherin fighting...
Silence, utter silence!
Irving left, but no one went back to sleep in the common room.
"No, why should we listen to him!"
Ron was furious. He was very dissatisfied, but he couldn't fight back by himself, so he wanted to recruit others to join him, unite everyone as one, and then fight against the oppression of a certain minor wizard!
So after he shouted that, he immediately turned his gaze to his twin brothers, because given their nature, they should be the first to respond to him.
To Ron's despair, the twins looked ashen, but showed no sign of resistance. Instead, they lowered their heads and went back to their dorm to sleep, forcing the cancellation of tonight's nighttime outing plan.
Students in fifth grade and above don't care, and besides, they don't have much energy to worry about such trivial matters, because the important exams in their lives put a lot of pressure on them!
As for those in fourth grade and below who want to rebel?
Ha ha!
If the Weasley twins haven't even entertained this idea, would anyone else? And to be honest, there aren't many Gryffindors who like to cause trouble; it's just a small group.
And among these few people, some will be in fifth grade the following year, so they are naturally not included in Irving's list...
Therefore, no one responded to Ron. Firstly, their strength didn't allow it, and secondly, they simply couldn't defeat him.
Ron was not giving up, so he went to see Professor McGonagall the next day. To his surprise, Professor McGonagall's eyes lit up after hearing what he said, and she then brought the sixth-year students into the discussion as well.
Fifth graders need to prepare for the OWL exam, seventh graders need to prepare for the NEWT exam, but sixth graders don't!
Ron was desperate... Even his own dean was turning against him, he was at his wit's end.
Gryffindor's freedom has been sank, but Professors Flitwick and Sprout are not happy!
"Darling, you know the Hufflepuffs aren't without strength, they just lack the will to fight. You need to think of a way to ignite their fighting spirit, okay?"
"Owen, in terms of overall strength, Ravenclaw is the strongest. You can't give up on Ravenclaw."
I couldn't refuse!
When a kind witch and a pitiful half-elf look at you with misty eyes... Owen can only agree, but he won't act immediately, because in Owen's opinion, there's nothing seriously wrong with these two academies, so he needs time to plan.
The two professors left satisfied, while Owen returned to his lounge, saw the cat-leopard resting there, and without saying a word, picked it up and threw it onto the bed.
Being a student is really mentally taxing!
Regardless, the study time cannot be changed, nor can the training time be reduced. The task of collecting reports will be done by Ron, the supervision work will be done by the ghosts and the portraits, and the task of grading reports will naturally be done by the most responsible little witch.
Hermione feels a lot of pressure...
It wasn't anything else, but looking at these reports riddled with errors, I felt immense pressure: "How could anyone come up with such a stupid idea, such a foolish plan? Good heavens, I always thought Gryffindor was the best house. If I had known this would happen, I should have listened to the Sorting Hat and gone to Ravenclaw!"
