Chapter 12: A Killer! You're serious, kid?!
Chapter 12: A Killer! You're serious, kid?!
One minute later.
"Whoosh—"
The vast open space was littered with soldiers, their faces covered in sweat and their breath coming in gasps.
"Shit! Is this guy even human? So many people attacked him together, and we couldn't even touch his clothes?"
"Fuck, I got kicked in the face, and it still hurts!"
"Stop talking! Who told you to judge people by their appearance and look down on their small stature?"
"Small build? Have you ever seen a small person who can be kicked several meters away by us without even breaking a sweat?"
At this moment, Horn was nothing short of a devil in their eyes, and they deeply regretted ever provoking him.
They had to admit that they had really underestimated each other, never expecting that such a physique could unleash such amazing power!
When Horn kicked them, it felt like they'd been hit by a truck; for a moment, they all thought they were going to go down and see their great-grandmother.
"Is there anyone else who disagrees?"
He still had his hands behind his back, his expression remained calm, and the smile never left Horn's face.
However, his words were like a demonic whisper to the soldiers present, causing them to tremble involuntarily, and no one dared to meet his gaze.
Even Cheetah Captain Blackhunter blushed deeply, filled with shame.
He was actually defeated in one kick by a kid who was not even twenty years old!
If this gets back to headquarters, he'll probably never be able to hold his head high again.
"Since no one is saying anything, I'll take that as your submission. Meet at the base exit in one hour."
Horn glanced at them one by one, and after confirming that there were no problems, he led Natasha toward the base command post.
"Not bad."
Natasha walked beside him and gave him a thumbs up.
"It's alright, dealing with them is a piece of cake."
Horn shrugged, as if he were talking about something trivial.
"Don't forget to teach me a couple of tricks later."
Natasha nodded.
"No problem, but my fees are very high."
Horn turned his head and said jokingly.
"That's no problem. If all else fails, I'll repay you with my body."
Natasha's lips curled up slightly as she recalled the scenes on the plane, her face flushing slightly.
"Well, so this is what they were waiting for me all along?"
Horn raised an eyebrow and shook his head in refusal, "That's a different price."
"Pah!"
Natasha turned her head away and ignored him.
……
A few minutes later.
Air Force Base Operations Command Center.
"Shit! You're serious with me, kid!?"
Rod's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets as he looked at Horn standing in front of him.
Until the moment he appeared in front of him, he still thought that Horn was going to bomb the school or do something else. He never thought that the other party would actually take a flight of several hours, cross half the globe, and come here!
Although he received a call from that special department last night, he initially thought it was because Horn had used his adoptive father, Howard, to mobilize this special operations team.
Now, the other party has actually appeared in front of him, and judging from the bulletproof vest he's wearing, he's not joking at all; he's 100% serious and really wants to rescue Tony Stark!
"I told you last night, what can I do if you don't believe me?"
Horn shrugged helplessly.
"Wait, where's Cheetah Six? Weren't they waiting for you at the airport? Why didn't they come with you?"
Rhodes suddenly realized something, looked behind Horn and then looked outside the door, but he couldn't see the Cheetah Six team anywhere, which made him even more puzzled.
"Oh, them? They were defiant towards me, so I beat them all to a pulp. They're all lying there now."
Horn scratched his head, pointed in the direction of the airport, and said casually.
"Wardfa?!"
This was even more incredible to him than seeing Horn appear in front of him.
He rushed to the window, grabbed his binoculars, and looked in the direction of the airport. Sure enough, he saw soldiers lying all over the ground there.
Besides the people from Cheetah Sixth Team, who else could it be?
"How did you do that?"
Rhodes turned around, his eyes filled with shock as he looked at Horn.
Those are members of the Cheetah Special Forces!
Even if it's Team Six, surely an eighteen-year-old kid can't handle it?
Besides, it was one person who took them all down.
Looking Horn up and down more closely, what shocked him even more was that there was not a trace of a fight on his body, and he wasn't even sweating, as if nothing had happened.
Is this really something a human could do?
This completely overturned his understanding!
"Now you should believe I can save Tony, right?"
Horn didn't bother to explain to him and simply asked a question in return.
"What's the use of believing? So many of us have been searching for him for over two months and haven't found a single trace. Do you really think you can find him?"
Rhodes shook his head and sighed before walking back to the command post.
"You know what, how about we make a bet? If I find it, you'll cooperate fully with me; if I don't, you're going home right now, okay?"
Horn gave a confident smile.
"Sure, if you can find them, you can command everyone here as you please."
Without a second thought, Rod nodded in agreement.
It's been over two months, and he's become somewhat desperate, treating it like a hopeless situation.
If Tony Stark can be found, then cooperating with Horn would be a natural next step.
After all, everyone shares the same goal: to rescue Tony Stark.
It's a deal.
Horn gave an OK sign, then pulled a USB drive from his pocket. "Plug this into your computer."
"This is?"
Rhodes took it with a puzzled look and handed it to a soldier beside him.
"Don't worry about it, just keep an eye on it."
Horn waved his hand, then took out a Bluetooth headset from his pocket.
Then, ignoring Rhodes, she called out to the air in front of her, "Tia."
"Sir, what can I do for you?"
Tia's voice came through the earphones.
"Pull up the images taken by the satellite."
Horn gave the order.
"Okay, sir, all the pictures have been retrieved for you."
Tia agreed, and a series of pictures immediately appeared on the large screen in the command center.
"Is this... the town of Gumira?"
Rhodes' eyes flickered slightly as he made a somewhat uncertain guess.
"Tia, zoom in on the valley in the upper right corner."
Horn ignored Rhodes and continued to give instructions to Tia.
"Sir, it has been enlarged for you."
Tia's voice rang out again, and the image zoomed in.
As the image is zoomed in, the valley in the picture gradually becomes clearer.
All the soldiers present, including Rhodes, couldn't help but slightly contract their pupils and almost simultaneously exclaimed in surprise.
"A terrorist's secret hideout!?"
