"Um... Excuse me?" The old man raised his hand and spoke in a low voice.
"Fine, you can go and make sure to come back as soon as possible." Just as Jayden gave him permission, the old man turned around and ran at full speed; he was going to kill whoever came in his way.
"You will be the new king of the beast tribe, my representative. You’ll rule and protect this place in my absence, change the laws, and reshape everything. Can you do it?" Jayden said.
"Yes, I will do my best to completely turn this place into a better place, something like my village." Caleb replied as he remembered how happy everything in his village was.
"Well, it would be better if you don’t turn it into something like your village; it would be weird if the king ate all his people." Jayden said and turned around.
"..." Caleb’s mouth was open and his lips twitching, he was wondering if Jayden was just joking or if he was serious. He just stood there silently and watched as Jayden flew away.
After a few seconds, both of them were floating in the air and looking over all the people. They were waiting for the old man to return before announcing the big news that was going to shake all the people.
The old man went to Malgor’s house and killed all the people, and he actually found his daughter there in a cage. She looked weak, but she was alive and fine. He took her away, and after spending some time, he went back to meet with Jayden.
"Huff Huff I’m back." The old man spoke as he arrived in front of them. Caleb looked at the old man with a strange look as if he wanted to feel like that too, to meet his family again.
"Okay, it’s time to tell everyone that Malgor will no longer be the king of this place; I’m taking over it." Jayden spoke. He wanted to make the old man speak first since most people knew his identity, so it would be easier to make them all believe his words.
"But how do I make my voice reach every place?" The old man asked. He looked jovial after seeing his daughter.
"You can start; it’ll reach them all." Jayden said and created Dream Domain just above them.
The old man shrugged and took in a long breath. He planned to shout as loudly as possible:
"I have already sent someone to call them, though they must already be on their way here after seeing that weird image in the sky." Another man added confidently.
"Nooo, we have to run away from here immediately." A loud voice sounded from some distance as a man came running towards them. He glanced at Jayden and looked terrified.
"What happened?" The crowd asked.
"A All three of them are dead already, so no one is going to come to save us; we have to get away from him."
Hearing this news, the bravado of all the people disappeared immediately. Without caring about their homes or the intruder, they just turned around to escape, though there was no place for them to hide.
"Too late." Jayden pointed his hands towards them, and their bodies began to float in the air as they waved their limbs around to free themselves from this invisible force.
"..." All of their bodies were separated from one another, and Jayden placed them at the same distance from one another so that everyone on the ground would be able to have a good look at it.
"Please spare us, we were just trying to defend our homes. We have a family, please don’t kill us-" They all struggled uselessly and kept begging.
The people of the beast tribe looked up at them with some fear in their hearts, but these were the people who were given power by Malgor, and drunk on that power, they had turned the lives of everyone else into hell.
In the next moment, heart piercing screams began to ring out all over the place as their bodies began to twist, their arms and legs bent at unnatural angles, all their bones began to break, and their skin was being torn apart.
"Aggghhh, sorry, ughhhhhhh please spare us, nooo—" The screams that sent chills down everyone’s spines kept ringing. Most people turned their gaze away from this inhuman torture, and in the next few seconds, the screams finally began to disappear one after another.
All of them had died in such a miserable way, that everyone in the beast tribe could still hear the screams in their heads.
