Chapter 755: Werewolves
Both Malgor and Gunter looked as if they had gone through a lifetime of torture, especially the beast king; he was in a much worse shape, his strength had reduced by a lot in such a short time.
"W- W- Why are those two here? And just what happened to them? You aren’t... the one who turned them into something like this, right? You just found them in that condition, right? Right?"
Rios asked hastily, her heart pounding madly just by looking at those two. He was reminded of how terrifying Jayden actually is.
"I need your help with something," Jayden said, while ignoring all of her questions.
"Hooo, so how do I help you?" Rios released a long breath and finally calmed down a little, as it seemed Jayden was not going to hurt him for now at least, but still, seeing those two powerful beings in such a state was just terrifying.
Without saying anything, Jayden just opened the portal to the nether world, then he threw Gunter and Malgor away and walked towards Xerome’s head and the chamber he had pulled out of Malgor’s body.
Jayden’s expression became stiff as he looked at Xerome’s face; he was again reminded of the rage he was feeling earlier, but holding it all in, he spoke:
"His soul is inside that thing, I want you to help me turn him back to normal."
"Hmmm, this thing is interesting." Rios’ gaze first moved towards the thing containing all those souls; his eyes were glowing with excitement as he observed so many souls moving inside the object they were trapped in.
After looking at it for a while, Rios tore his gaze away and finally looked at Xerome’s head, his eyes widening in surprise again:
"How is he even alive right now? Right now, he doesn’t even have his healing abilities, and it seems everything has been taken away from him. Just why would you put such a handsome boy through all that torture?"
Rios looked at Xerome with pity, then he looked back at Jayden and spoke: "Even if I am great at dealing with souls, I can’t do anything about his body. It looks completely ruined; there is no way he could survive now."
"You don’t have to worry about that; just tell me if his soul is fine or not," Jayden said, a grim expression on his face.@@@@
"...," Rios didn’t know what he was planning, so after taking a long look at Xerome, he turned around and soon began to observe all the souls inside the chamber.
"Wow, this thing is fascinating. Is it okay if I keep this?" Rios asked, and Jayden just nodded.
"Can I even keep all the other souls for my experiments?" Rios asked while blinking his eyes innocently.
Jayden directly appeared right above the sky of the witch planet. He waited there for a few seconds, and soon he saw a few figures approaching him from some distance.
"Introduce yourself- huh?" one of the witches shouted. They seemed to be quite alarmed, but maybe they recognized him since they stopped some distance away and no longer looked at him suspiciously.
"Jayden?" One of the five witches questioned.
"Yes, I am," he replied.
"What is your purpose in coming here?" She asked again, but all the women seemed quite surprised by Jayden’s appearance.
It’s not every day they see someone as handsome; so far, they have only heard about him, but he looked much better than the description they have received about him.
"I am here to meet Seraphina. Is she here?" Jayden questioned, trying to be as calm as possible.
"Uhm... No, she has gone outside for some business, though she should be coming back soon. So you can wait for her here-" the witch was speaking, but Jayden interrupted her and asked:
"Where has she gone?"
"Uh..." All the witches seemed a little reluctant to tell him the location of Seraphina without her permission, but since they knew Jayden wouldn’t harm her and their relationship is good, they decided to tell him their queen’s location.
"Our queen has gone to..." one of the witches informed him.
"Alright." Jayden nodded and just disappeared from there in the next moment. He needed to hurry before it’s too late.
Seraphina had gone out to meet the werewolf race for business purposes. Since the time of the tournament was coming near, all the races were busy preparing for it, and the information network, as well as all their technologies, were attracting all kinds of races towards the witches.
Just as everyone had seen in movies, vampires and werewolves don’t get along well, but after long wars in the past, they had signed a peace agreement to not attack each other unless the other side breaks the agreement first.
