After repeating that several Times over, the door to the Boss Room didn’t open before us the next time when we arrived in the Waiting Room.
「Are they closed again?」
「Most likely because there is an ongoing Boss battle inside, which probably means that maybe there is a Party that likes to repeat the Boss battles as much as we do.」
「I see. In that case there’s nothing that we can do about it, since this overlap is not our fault.」
146I talked about it with Roxanne.
If there are two or more Parties that repeat Boss battles, it’s only natural that we’ll be kept waiting in the Waiting Room until they are either finished or dead. And since they will probably come back by using 「Field Walker」then there is not much difference in the methods that this other Party and mine are employing.
It’s actually a small miracle that we didn’t have something like that happen to us sooner.
「No. I think that is taking them so long to fight the Boss battle because there must be no Mages in that other Party. I can think of no other explanation for them to be taking this long. The Rem Golem is the last Floor Boss that can be beaten relatively easily even in a Party without Mages after all.」
Sherry seems to have a different opinion.
「Can be beaten relatively easily?」
「It’s said that the Floor Boss and its helpers can be defeated easily by concentrating your attacks on the monsters that are not asleep and then finishing the sleeping ones.」
「Ah, so you use the fact that some of them are sleeping to your advantage?」
「Yes. Of course, depending on the situation, all the monsters that appear may not be asleep, so in the worst case, you’d need to have the ability to deal with three monsters at once. However, if it’s the Boss Room, then no matter how long it takes, there won’t be any other monsters invading, so we can fight safely.」
If you have enough power to defeat the Floor Boss, you can go to a higher floor, but if a Party without a Mage is on a floor that proves to be too much for their abilities, they might have no choice but to fall back to the lower floors when multiple groups of many enemies start appearing and the tide of battle will no longer be in their favor.
And of course, they’re going to be in big trouble if they won’t be able to kill the monsters fast enough. If you’re going to take that kind of risk, then is it really worth it to try and challenge the REM Golem in the first place?

「I forgot that I had heard that REM Golems are popular target for Adventurers. It seems that even though not many people tend to appear on the twenty-third and twenty-fourth floors, there are still some Parties that are able to handle the thirty first floor, being more than suitable to deal with the REM Golems without difficulties.」
In other words, we were able to fight so smoothly without interruptions because it was so early in the day. Quratar’s Labyrinth was originally full of people, and it can get really crowded during the day.
「I understand. Then it would be better to fight on the thirty-second floor today.」
「A Boss battle on the on the thirty-second floor?」
No, no.
Roxanne, why are you always like that? I won’t be swayed, even if your eyes start shining like that!
Roxanne gives me a follow-up blow.
After our turn to fight the Floor Boss has finally come and we breezed through it once again, she asked me that while taking out a piece of paper that she then held in front of her.
What she has there must surely be a map of the thirty-second floor of Quratar’s Labyrinth.
「I see you brought it with you?」
「I did, because I anticipated that something like that might happen.」
Of course you did.
「Let’s collect feathers for today.」
「I understand.」
Oh. She really understands?
If Roxanne says that it’s fine then it’s fine, but for a moment there I was really worried that she might say that she wants to continue fighting against the Floor Bosses.
I’ve never been so happy.
No, wait a second.
In the first place, fighting on the thirty-second floor is an alternative to the crowded Boss Room on the thirty-first floor. There is no reason for us to advance to the Boss battle on the thirty-second floor.
Even if its going for just one day, that’s still going to be within the margin of error, even more so since Roxanne’s demands were unreasonable from the start.
That was a natural thing to say in these circumstances, so it’s not the time to be happy that she understands. I was about to be tricked by her again, so I regain my composure and start hunting Rock Birds.
Roxanne guided us to a place where there was a lot of monsters, so the battles were tough as expected.
To be precise, she’s taken us to a place where there was not a lot of ordinary monsters, but rather a lot of Rock Birds. That is also why we were fighting against the groups of monsters that were consisting mainly of five Rock Birds, whereas I would have preferred it if we were fighting against the groups where there was one, maybe two Rock Birds, or three of them at best.
Well, even if there are five of them, that really isn’t that big of a problem.

「Good, now fall back a little!」
Miria managed to petrify one of the enemy monsters almost immediately. Now that she did that, when we’re all going to take a step back the remaining monsters should give chase after us and move to the vanguard, there they are all going to be within the reach of Sherry’s spear.
As a result of that, if any of them tries using any kind of magic attack, area of effect or otherwise, it is definitely going to be cancelled by us.
