Chapter 380 The Supreme Magic

Chapter 380 The Supreme Magic

Aur sat down cross-legged on the floor, his eyes tightly closed in this wooden prison. His mind was completely focused.

It felt like a chain was tightly entrapping him from all directions as Aur comprehended further and further into Time Magic.

"What is this bottleneck?" Aur thought in his heart with shock. It felt like the bottleneck of not just Time Magic, but his entire being, as if something was straining himself from taking a step further.

Aur seemed to be ever close to reaching the disciple level of mastery in Time Magic but never actually reached it.

This seemed to be the case even when he was on the trip; it felt like it was just a step away but never actually reaching it.

An invisible chain seemed to surround his being.

"This Time Magic is not simple."

Aur slowly opened his eyes, revealing his crimson pupils, and muttered. But this was even better for him; if he could find a way to destroy these chains, then he might have a way to get out of here.

Actually, he didn't want to make it so that the entire place would lose mana; that would be a losing game for both him and this guardian spirit.

He just wanted to force the spirit to hand over this entire place to him, which was his end goal. It seemed like an impossible dream right now unless he pushed this spirit even further.

So even though Aur seemed mad, acting with a berserk mindset, his mind was the most calm and collected.

"Let's comprehend Time Magic until Nina and the guardian spirit come up with something to defeat me."

Aur decisively closed his eyes again, trying to break the illusionary chains that seemed to bind his very being.

Outside the wooden prison, the guardian spirit and Nina were discussing together.

"I can really do that, Guardian Spirit?" Nina asked with raised brows.

"Yes, it is possible for you to do so. In this place, time is slowed by at least ten times the time of the real world."

She pointed at Nina and spoke lightly: "I can allow you to become a Tier Four Wizard in the shortest time possible."

"The key to breaking through Tier Seven is Time Magic. A world cannot be created without Time Elements, the governing body of all things. Many can complement this with a Time Magic spell and make it without even using the comprehension, but they are all weak Tier Seven wizards."

"Time Magic allows beings to see in different planes."

"And you might ask me why I am telling you this before you even break through to Tier Four. That is because I have a Time Magic spell for you, although it is only a Tier Three," Stella spoke with a mysterious smile.

Nina's eyes lit up.

"Thank you, Master Stella."

Time seemed to pass in the blink of an eye. In this world, there was only light with the sun casting over it with some clouds. There was no moon cycle, so it was difficult to know the passage of time.

Aur remained seated in his cross-legged position, the illusionary chains surrounding his body seemed to gradually loosen as time passed.

At this time, he was fully engulfed in the comprehension of Time Magic and didn't seem to care at all about his environment. Of course, Aur also has his instinct, which could slightly help him to wake up if there was a life-threatening danger.

Gradually, he seemed to have drifted into a dream, a very warm dream back on Earth where he was still a baby.

Aur's life seemed to unfold right in front of him, from orphan to gangster, then the subsequent world domination by bribing the politicians or threatening them and controlling the military. Unfortunately, it all ended with the betrayal of his brother.

He didn't actually feel much emotion when he saw him dying at the end because there was no need to be such emotion; he had already accomplished everything and attained luxury beyond the normal people's imagination.

His power and influence were above and far beyond anything, as it could be seen from the literal special bomb that exploded, which was a little copy of the Nuclear bomb when he died with his enemies.

"At the top, it feels empty."

Aur looked at himself enjoying life after being a gangster, going to pubs and enjoying it with the girls. No matter which girl he looked at, there was none who wouldn't be willing to spread her legs for him.

Whatever it was: woman, power, or money, he had it all, but Aur in the scenery didn't look right. He was happy, but at the same time, there seemed to be a look of reluctance in his eyes.

"Even if I have it all, can I take it to my grave?" Aur mumbled while looking at the reluctant Aur, even in all the riches, and he finally knew what those emperors must have felt when they took their dying breaths.

That was why he didn't have any regrets when dying and didn't have such a grudge against his enemies.
